The property was luxury class. But our room had not been used in a while and was quite dusty around the bathroom sink and on the surfaces . we did not have soap, hand, lotion, or a full Kleenex box, which ran out. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we enjoyed watching TV in the evening on the sofa area. We enjoyed the hot tub immensely, except for the screaming children and mother. we very much enjoyed being able to have supper at the hotel without having to search for something in the downtown area. We did think the cost of breakfast was excessive but Convenient. We were very surprised at the cost of parking in their lot at $32 a night. We thought parking was included and available on site.. But it was very convenient in crowded downtown Pittsburgh and right next to the arena. Pittsburgh Street are in eternal construction, and very difficult to get around, with a lot of one-way streets. We went to see the Phipps Conservatory and enjoyed that immensely, but getting there was a chore because of Pittsburgh street construction.

The staff at the desk were wonderful. The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Pittsburgh.

We were attending a concert at the PPG Arena and it was a perfect location. The room was spacious and the bed super comfortable. The staff was cordial and efficient. I would stay here again

The main areas were nice and clean. Rooms were not kept up. Gross carpet and first room we got the shower was disgusting- to the point where we asked for a different room. Housekeeping tried to barge in at 8 am our last day without knocking. Would be nice if they waited for people to check out or at least knocked before opening the door on sleeping guests!!

It’s overpriced but you pay for the convenience to PPG paints arena. The hotel rooms could use a gut and redo but we’ll continue to stay due to it being right next door to the arena

The convenience of staying here for an event at PPG is unmatched. The room definitely needs updating (carpet was terrible, toilet barely flushed, comforter had stains, literal boogers on the walls by the bed) and the noise from hallways carries into the room very easily. Staff was great. Would recommend for the convenience, but if your a cleanliness stickler, please choose elsewhere! Glad we only had to stay one night!

The staff at check in were very friendly, however when entering our room, the door frame was damaged as if someone was trying to break in. I brought it up to the manager and they said that previously, the card reader wasn’t working and they had to use tools to open the door. Also, they was a pair of dried contact lenses stuck to the bathroom wall as well as broken lamp shade and part of the window curtains were broken. The hotel gave us free breakfast passes, free overnight parking and free snacks for the inconvenience. Unfortunately since I booked the room through a third party (Expedia), they were unable to take any fee off of our room. In spite of the poor quality of the room, the staff was friendly.

We really loved the location, but our room was really dirty. There was spatter of what looked like blood on the walls and the curtains and dirt on the carpet. The bathroom was very clean, but the room was a bit dated and worn.

I didn’t like how much it cost to park. But I loved the overall experience. Texting my phone to see if I needed anything was very cool! And the property was nice. Wish the exhaust fans worked in the bathrooms (unless it was just mine) because everything got so steamy and wet. But I will definitely be back.

The hotel location next to PPG Paints arena was prime. Nice staff, pool, large room, food. All these great things are overshadowed by no hot water in shower. Zero hot water.

Our room needs some tlc but it was a nice room. Bathroom missing towel holder behind door, dirty on the side lounge, wrappers in cushion, dirty behind the nightstands, plus a hard throw blanket in closte, and the tracking for closet is dangerous.

$300 for one night plus $32 parking? For the state of these rooms that is a RIP OFF. The carpet was so dirty. Bathroom had hair all over it. Our bed had hairs in it so obviously the sheets were not changed. Which is DISGUSTING!!! Not enough outlets to charge electronics, hello we’re in 2024? Everyone has cell phones to charge. The parking lot ticket scanners don’t work. They say the room key paper holder should open the gate but it did not. They tried to modernize this place, but failed miserably. Save your money and go elsewhere! I’m never returning and I’ll be spreading the word.

Whew, where do I begin? Most of the staff was friendly. The rooms were extremely outdated, and had VISIBLE carpet stains. They don’t put garbage bags in their garbages, which is gross. They are extremely understaffed. I watched the front desk person empty towels in the pool area. A maintenance man was doing housekeeping. I walked past a garbage bag in the hallway 3 days in a row. My room key was constantly resetting. In one instance Jim Mason was at the front desk. He was helping someone check in, which I patiently waited. Once he was finished, he didn’t acknowledge me, and proceeded to help another guest that walked in, as I stood there in my bathing suit unable to access the pool. He stated I had to wait because “he had to walk away from the desk.” Which was not true at all. After going in the pool and getting help from Abdul, I wanted to ask Jim why he would completely disregard the fact that I was next to be helped? While I was speaking, he kept saying “ok, ok, ok.” Clearly not listening. I felt discriminated against, and called customer service, as he was HIGHLY unprofessional, immature, and refused to listen. If staff doesn’t believe me, they can look at their cameras. Another staff member named Debbie was equally rude. She never greeted me as I exited or entered the building. Her demeanor was cold, and bothered. I felt uncomfortable as a guest. When I checked out, I found out they charged me for parking in front of the hotel! Extremely disappointed.
