The room was nice but rather small for a suite. There were two TVS in room but too close together so that it was impossible to adjust volume to hear only the one you were watching. The bathroom vanity is not separate from the toilet/ shower area so only one person could get ready at a time. The staff was courteous and friendly. The shuttle service was excellent.

family vacation

Posted Aug 13, 2014
This hotel was a nice place to stay. We visited Pittsburgh for a family vacation and we had a suite with a king bed and pull out couch-suppose to be a double but was too small for my two boys (8 &13). I was disappointed when we wanted to extend our stay by one day and I didn't find the staff very helpful at trying to make this work. We had to pack up leave our luggage in the lobby while we went out for the day and then change rooms. The room was a nicer room and I had a hard time figuring out why they made us change rooms when they could have given that room to an incoming guest. The do have a shuttle but I found it easier to use the local subway system. Nice lobby bar for a drink at the end of the day

Very close to everything!!

We were attending an event at the Consol Energy Center and weighed heavy on the decision. Finding the parking could have been a little better marked but not a big problem. The hotel was clean and well kept when we entered. We were told of all the amenities and directed to our room by the very helpful and pleasant staff. Very clean room with everything we needed, except a channel guide, lol. A big plus was how close this hotel was to everywhere we wanted to see, except the zoo. We walked all over the city and were never more than a 20-30 min walk. The hotel even offers a free shuttle if we were ever stuck or didn't want to walk back. Out the window we saw a pizza that that was AMAZING!!! Pizza Milano is a must, and they deliver to the room!!!! There were a few other restaurants close by and I wish we would have had a little more direction and help of what was around but with a little help from apps we figured it out. Overall a great experience and would defiantly recommend this hotel.

Great location and experience

I stayed at the Cambria while taking the bar exam. I needed a location that was close to the Convention Center (which they offered a free shuttle to), as well as a quiet and comfortable environment. The bed and pillows were wonderful and I got to relax peacefully. My stay was everything I needed, which I am very thankful for.
