The 1st room they gave me had someone in it still the 2nd room had cigarette ashes in the tub window curtains had food on them carpets were stained in several different areas in the room

The staff were friendly and welcoming. We arrived around 2 AM on an early Sunday morning and guests were playing Cornhole with music under the covered entrance to the hotel. Staff were with the guests playing. I felt like it was too late to be playing Cornhole literally at the front entrance. Our bathroom floor had hair on the floor and in the shower. The staff member at breakfast made it awkward by being overly friendly and making jokes and comments that were not appropriate. Overall, it was an okay stay but one where the ratings are higher than what you actually experience. The staff ask everyone to put in a review at breakfast and I feel it skews the ratings online. This was not a terrible stay and the bed was comfortable but will not be my first choice.

The room was not the cleanest room but not terrible. Felt terrible for the front desk worker when he was tasked with finding items for a guest and had to leave the front desk because no one else was working. Had quite the line waiting after he came back 20 minutes later.

No one was working the lobby for over five minutes after we arrived. The person that showed up from outside was inebriated and had trouble finishing sentences while checking us in. Finally, the room we were given had not been cleaned since the last occupant. Worst hotel experience ever.

Staff was great at check in and check out. Room appeared dirty. And when showering the tub didn’t drain. When wife was showering hair and black funk came up around her feet. Extremely disgusting

The property is very old and run down. It looks nothing like the pictures. The rooms are dirty, the bathrooms are a mess, the beds have the old box springs, and the only good thing you can say about the property is it has a breakfast that is free. But for $124, find someplace else to stay.

When we were checking in a man came in from the bar restaurant and was yelling at the man at the front desk about something that happened in the bar. Then right after that two men got in a fight with another guy right at the entrance. They started punching each other while my four kids and my parents (aged 78) were sitting there. It was pretty scary. The pool was nice and big, but the pool area is very dirty. The heat in my parents’ room didn’t work and we had to switch their room. When we went to switch their room another woman was waiting to switch her room because her sofa bed had no mattress. She ended up asking for her money back and leaving the hotel. Also, there seems to be nothing at all near the restaurant.

Front desk and breakfast attendants were very personable but the rest was disappointing. The inside of the microwave was so rusted it would surely start a fire. I did tell the front desk and they wrote it down to pass to maintenance. The cabinets and closet doors were hanging off the hinges/rail. The toilet paper didnt have a bar. There were holders for tissues and paper towels but both were empty. All the kitchenware was stuck in some sticky substance in the drawer. The shower curtain was pink from mildew and they definitely don't vacuum along the edges of any wall or furniture. There were burn holes in the curtain and a gaping hole where the balcony door lock should have been...the only reason I didnt change rooms at that point was because the door couldn't be opened no matter what I tried. At breakfast, the coffee and hot water were empty at both stations, even though there was still an hour left for breakfast both days of my stay and the counters were completely littered with cereal, scrambled eggs, empty creamer cups and used sugar packs. I couldn't bring myself to eat there either day because it just didn't seem clean at all. The attendent was very sweet but completely overwhelmed.

Three and a half stars overall. Customer service, the breakfast offerings, the supportive pillows and bed mattress as well as the pool were the best features. The key card didn't work consistently, which was annoying.

Our stay was just ok. The bathroom was clean, bed was comfortable however the sheets had stains on them. The key card didn't work when we tried to use the pool. The exterior doors were unlocked at all times even though there was a sign that key card was required to get in. The best part of our stay was that there is a bar and grill attached to the hotel.

Not a good experience.
Room was small and so does the beds were. The room that was assigned on the check-in was later changed when I entered the room and saw it is not ready, everything was messy there. Again have to go the front desk and got another room. Exhaust in bathroom was not working. Water drainage in the bath tub was not clear and water was drained slowly.

Very big property. I was located in the basement section, a decent ways away from the lobby, but no big deal. Seemed quiet near me. Only thing negative may have been a super long line at check in time, think I got there around 4:30…so I actually did some things downtown and just checked in later in the night and it was quick.
