Great staff - super helpful!

Posted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: Everything- clean, great staff, nice view, comfortable bed, hot shower, just perfect.
Cons: There are cement barriers going down the middle of the divided highway which make it impossible to do a left turn into the hotel. It is necessary to
Location: Check out PITTSBURGH - less than 10 minutes away. Take the Incline Ride.
I arrived at the hotel and my LOW COOLANT LIGHT was lit up on my dashboard. I asked Becca at the front desk if she could recommend a place to have the car looked at. I had just driven in from Michigan to Pittsburgh and was in real trouble. She gave me the name and number of a person whom she trusted and who could help me. I called there the next day and drove my car 2 miles to get there. They worked on it and I was ready to go in 75 minutes. Her recommendation really made all the difference in my trip as I was going to the Flight 93 Memorial Service on September 11 and this was September 10. Thanks to Becca for saving the day. She was a true example of Pittsburgh hospitality and the Comfort Inn should give her a raise.

Good staff

The room we stayed in had tons of stains in the carpet, ceilings, and walls. The staff was nice and the breakfast was sufficient.

Good place for north Pittsburgh

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Location--It was very close to where our friends live in Pittsburgh and reasonably priced.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Don't know,.
This is a newer Comfort in and is excellent in terms of condition, amenities, etc. The only thing I would say is that the breakfast area is a little small, as is the lobby. The King room we had was also a little cramped, but since we didn't spend much time in the room, it wasn't a problem.

Easy access to Pittsburgh

This location and accessibility is great. If you need a room for a Pirates/Steelers game, youre close to the venues without the headache of downtown.

OK stay

Location: Plenty to see in Pittsburgh. Get the pamphlets in the lobby.
The hotel was OK we had some guests come in and start partying around 1:00am. We had to call the desk to have this taken care of. The desk manager did handle it. The room doors are very noisy and you can hear them closing. This is annoying especially late at night. Some kind of slow door closing device might help here to prevent the constant banging when they close. The Breakfast was good they provided eggs and sausage along with other continental breakfast foods. Getting to the hotel can be difficult from Mcknight road. depending on your travel direction you might have to do a U turn each time you come back from Pittsburgh.

Was nice but I was told it was close to PNC park and it was six miles out. Room was clean morning desk clerk was a little rude. They did let us park on property before check in and go into Pittsburgh and check in later in the eveninig. You did need to drive to eat, shop and tour. All in all it was a nice place.

PNC Park Visit

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and lots of pillows were available
Cons: Although there was a nice variety of food for breakfast, the quality could be upgraded. Desk personnel could be more pleasant
Location: The location was near to a Catholic church, shopping centers, a golf course & PNC park. The only negative was the odd turn-around
The desk girl who checked us in wasn't very pleasant; didn't say anything other than to ask us our name. When I called down to the desk the next day to report that the hair dryer wasn't working, she said she would contact housekeeping and hung up on me. The housekeeping person who replaced the hair dryer was very prompt and friendly. The location was odd; you could not drive across the highway; had to go up the road and do a turn-around to drive in the opposite direction. The breakfast was disappointing. I had eggs and sausage the first morning. Because of it's funny taste, I opted for orange juice, coffee and a banana the next day. The room was very clean and comfortable with a lot of extra pillows on the bed.
