“Convient shuttle service to CMU and area”

For visiting Carnegie Mellon U or other local business, the free local shuttle van was great. We just needed to call for a pick-up when done and they were there in 15 minutes. Parking at the hotel is valet only, though, at $20/day including tax. This was an unexpected expense

“Pittsburgh Shadyside”

Great place with easy access to Univ. of Pittsburgh, Carnegie-Mellon Univ., Oakland, and Shadyside. Perfect if you have family members hospitalized at UPMC-Shadyside. Hotel is new (3 years), and very well maintained, with friendly and excellent service. The rooms were spacious and well appointed as well. The only catch is if you have a car - only valet parking exists at ~$20.00/day. Despite the "catch", it's a great place to stay and enjoy Pittsburgh.

Comfortable rooms, excellent staff, very good breakfast. $20 a day for parking your car is a bit outrageous, though.

Employee's where great. Nice shuttle serve. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Great breakfast. Only prpblem a little steep for parking adds up after a while, they kind of got you because there is no where else to park.

I have found Courtyard by Marriott Hotels to be extremely reliable with the right price and staff attitude rarely seen outside the Ritz Carlton environment. This outcome must be attributable to the leadership team. Kudos.

“Quite Comfortable!”

We flew into Pittsburgh for a wedding. We checked in early on Saturday (1 pm) and since the wedding didn't start until 5:00, we were able to walk a few blocks to a posh shopping-eating district on Walnut Street. The Hotel offered free shuttle service to and from the wedding so we didn't have to take a cab. They had a wonderful breakfast buffet the next morning, and got us to the airport well on time. All in all, a great place to stay!!!

“Very convenient location for Carnegie Mellon University”

This hotel runs a daytime and evening free shuttle to downtown and the nearby campuses of Carnegie Mellon and University of Pittsburgh. As it is not that easy to get a taxi when you need one, this is a great convenience and savings. The hotel is well maintained and very courteous staff.
