“You can do better ... keep trying!”

My non-smoking king size room smelled like a tobacco factory and had cigarette burns on the sink. The bathroom ceiling had been plastered (poorly) and still had water leak stains and bulges from where the plaster was falling. I would swear it said that there was a fridge, but nothing but a bed, desk could be found. The hotel is located on the back side away from the main road and is difficult to get in and out of. It is not located on Blvd. like the address leads you to think. There was a dirty washcloth left by the front door and a smashed stinkbug that was still stuck to the wall by the window that had collected some dust. The front desk clerk was nice enough to share stories about the hookers and such that keep rooms there and that the police watch the backside of the hotel frequently. I was glad to be checking out when she mentioned that!

Expedia would not give name of the hotel until I paid. Then I read reviews of other travelers about Days Inn, Monroeville, PA. Those were extremely depressing and I was concerened. In truth, the hotel was OK for its price. Rooms were reasonably clean, beds were OK. Bare necessities were provided adequately. The staff were OK. Breakfast was very basic but OK. Considering the rate, I think our stay was fine. I am unlikely to stay here again but for really budget conscious traveler, this motel is an surely an option to consider.

I was dissapointed when I learned we had booked this hotel. I was aware of it since I am from the area. Our bathroom needed to be gutted and redone including the walls.

I bought this room with an unpublished rate and was very disappointed when I saw what hotel I had received given its poor reviews, but it was not as bad as the other reviews make it sound. The exterior and common areas of the hotel are not well kept. The room itself was dated, but clean enough. The complimentary breakfast was a joke. There was some white bread for toast and stale looking doughnuts. There was free wireless, which was a big plus. This wasn't worth full price.

“Convenient to Pittsburgh; Filthy”

This is a poorly maintained Days Inn property. The room was very big, but dirty- the comforter was sticky, the bathroom ceiling leaked and was covered in mold, and the shower did not appear to have been cleaned thoroughly. The walkways were also unkempt and covered in garbage. In an area with so many other budget motels, I would recommend staying elsewhere.
