It was a nice room and great welcoming staff. The only thing negative was my stains comforter but I just didn't use it.

Airport Shuttle

My flight out was canceled at 9:30pm and I was rescheduled to fly out the next morning. Hotels were booking up fast as i was not the only one and many flights were being canceled. I was in a bad mood. I was on a business trip so i contacted the office and my business partner booked this one for me. Come to find out, AFTER booking and calling for pick up, that they charge each way for airport shuttle service. I cannot comprehend a hotel servicing PIT airport and over the price of three digits a night charging round trip for airport shuttle service. I was stuck, had to go back and forth, so I was forced to pay. When I pleaded my case, the hotel staff had no concern for my predicament. This is highway robbery and they lost the opportunity customer service side to make a repeat customer out of me. I fly to PIT often, stay at hotels by the airport often, I have stayed at LaQuinta and MainStay Suites. No charge for shuttle service at either of these. Only stayed here because my options were limited. My experience is that these situations are golden opportunities to create loyal, repeat customers - when someone is forced to use your service due to a lack of options when they would otherwise have never choose it. Days Inn FAILED! I will NEVER stay at this Days Inn again. Do yourself a favor - stay at LaQuinta or MainStay suites - They are the same price, offer free shuttle service, and have an excellent staff.

Not again

The room smelled of mold, there was no tub and you could not control the temperature. You could hear the people in the hall and the rooms around you. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pros: The mattress on the bed.
Cons: Shouldn't be people hanging out in the lobby that are not guests. The night clerk needs to be more personable and speak clearly.
Location: There was nothing nearby and the location was very dark and in the middle of no where.
I called around 6pm and told them we were stuck in traffic and would be late late, the girl that answered the phone was very nice and said the rooms would be waiting. We arrived around midnight and the guy at the desk, was a little rude, mumbled when he talked and we couldn't understand him and had to ask him to repeat what he said several times. There were people hanging out in the lobby, and they didn't look like guests. They looked like people off the street trying to keep cool or out of the rain. We went straight to our rooms. They were just ok.There was water in our shower like someone had just used it to take a shower, not a dripping faucet. The beds were the best though. Very comfortable and we slept great.
