Close to downtown Pittsburgh

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: It is a beautiful hotel.
Cons: Change the age limit of children allowed to swim without supervision to 16 or 18. Enforce noisy room standards.
Unruly teens ruined pool experience. Noise throughout the night disrupted our sleep. Staff seemed to be concerned however the problems were not solved. I chose the hotel for the location. However there are several in the area and my next visit I will try one of the others.

Lovely hotel.

Pros: The pool, and atrium were perfect!
Cons: Sound proof the adjoining doorways!
Location: I visited Pittsburgh, which was hell to navigate, but in Mars, Pa. Where the hotel is located was very quaint and easy to travel.
Great staff, I had one problem with my room service of dinner, they compted that and breakfast. They went above and beyond what was expected to make sure I was happy!

Weekend Trip

Posted Jun 9, 2015
Pros: its location and secluded, but still had access to all the shops and anything we needed. Was very comfortable
Cons: parking lot appearance. A bit run down. Some kind of outdoor seating down in the grass area
Location: Cinemas, restaurants, and shops. Restaurants in walking distance of the Hotel
Very nice stay. Only problem we had was that the inside pool was not clean

My daughter and I stayed at Double Tree after we attended a Taylor Swift concert at Heinz field. The hotel room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool. Heinz field stadium was only 15 minutes away, very convenient.

Our "home" while attending a Graduation.

Pros: Everything we used or experienced was good quality.
Cons: ice maker on our floor went "out of order".
Location: For our purposes the location to relatives was close by and perfect. We were not interested in nearby activities.
Quality is the watchword for this hotel/motel. The bed was comfortable. Ice holder was metal, drinking containers were glass. Coffee making available if you choose. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. TV was a good quality with plenty of stations. Warm chocolate chip cookies at the desk any time you ask. Meticulous maid service. Prices were reasonable for the excellent service.
