Central LocationPosted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Very centrally located.
Cons: Coffee table was very broken, and the pull-out couch desperately needs to be replaced. Needs an information pamphlet. Eg. Checkout time, pool location
Location: PNC stadium is within walking distance.
Hotel check-in was slow, only valet parking is available. Booked a suite to use the pull out couch, but was disappointed that it seemed to be from 1985 (VERY thin, and dirty). Not worth the extra money for the suite.

Access to Everything in PittsburghPosted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Easy access to most venues, walking distance to shopping restaurants, free shuttle offered to most popular locations.
Fabulous price at the last minute. From the front desk to the valet, they were amazing. We expected nothing but were treated the same as if we were staying in a five star hotel. Definitely pleased.

nice room for the price.Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: good value.
Location: We were 2 minutes from Consol Energy Center, which was our destination. It was just a few minutes walk to Market Square to eat.
The hotel was a nice value. The only negatives: Road and elevator noise, based upon the location of our room. The sink in the bathroom was a small round one, not user friendly for a lady, but we made due. We called for bedding for the pull-out and it was brought right up.

Great hotel downtownPosted Aug 23, 2014
The hotel is in the center of town within walking distance of everything. We went to the north shore for a Steelers game and took the train. The train station was literally across the street. The staff was pleasant, helpful and professional. We will definitely stay there again

Very friendly staff. Nice location, less than a mile from the stadiums downtown. Only disappointment I had was that there is no spa to go with the pool.

Downtown PittsburghPosted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: Offered a free shuttle.
Cons: The sink in the bathroom did not drain properly. The sound of other individuals closing room doors was very loud.
The staff was helpful and gave us warm chocolate chip cookies upon arrival.

One Night, Downtown PittPosted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: - Cookies on check in! - Extremely Clean - Modern Fitness Center - The most perfect pillows the world has ever seen
Cons: - Front desk seemed to be impatient - Spent a lot of time waiting on the elevator
Hotel was very easy to find, and the parking situation was pretty nice, (it is all valet parking, and the valet service is extremely efficient) Front desk help was nice, but didn't really go out of their way to make us feel welcome, the huge cookie on check in was great! The fitness center was very nice, and extremely modern. Our room was a little on the small side, however the bed was extremely comfortable, and we had a nice view overlooking downtown Pittsburgh. Room was spotless, bathroom was pretty large compared to the rest of the room, location of the TV in the bedroom was perfect. All around, a beautiful hotel, and I would definitely recommend. We also ate breakfast at the Bigelow Grille (In house restaurant) the following morning, great breakfast selection, a little pricy.

The hotel was clean and we had no major issues. We payed 200 dollars for a room which had very little amenities and no complimentary breakfast. I have stayed in hotels in bigger tourist areas that I have payed less for and received at least a complimentary bagel. We were also charged 20 dollars for parking on top of the 200 dollars. Not exactly sure what I was paying for that was worth that much ? We did ride the free subway across the street to pnc which was convenient but overall I wouldn't pay that much again for what we received.
