“Disappointed with the layout of the room, and the outdated decor.”

In comparison to similar motels along the PA turnpike, we found this one to be lower than the average especially for the price we paid. The decor was outdated and worn looking. My biggest complaint was the very cramped bathroom with 1 very small sink and vanity, and no place to put toiletries, clothing etc. There was definitely no way 2 people could be in there the same time. I would look at others in the area. There were many others close by.

“convenient, easily accessible and friendly staff”

This hotel is an easy access to the airport. I like it's size, in that the rooms are just a short elevator ride away with a brief walk down the hall. There is ample parking in the back. The staff is always friendly. The room, hall and lobby are always clean.

“Hampton Inn Could Have a Resturant”

If there were a restaurant in the hotel, the Hampton Inn would be a 5 star Hotel all the way around. They do provide menus for ordering in but staying in the hotel to eat is great when there is rain or other bad weather. I'd rather have a restaurant and bar inside. They give free Internet which is fantastic! It is modern, clean and the front desk people are very accommodating. The 'check out' time is noon, which gives you plenty of time to eat the buffet breakfast and have time to get back to the room before checking out. Free newspapers are available and shuttle service is the best around!

If you want to be close to the airport, this is the hotel to be in. Shuttle service and top notch front desk service is awesome. It is clean with extra towels and anything you may have forgotten is available. Nice free buffet breakfast, but no restaurant. Menus and shuttle service available for dinning.

“It's conveinient after a long flight.”

The ladies at the front desk in the morning where very helpful with directions and overall very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Too expensive for what you get.

“Best Pittsburgh airport hotel”

The Hampton Inn Is clean, comfortable and close to PIT airport. Leave your car in the parking lot , no charge. Use their shuttle to and from airport. The staff is welcoming and friendly.

Dining

Across the road,University Blvd, is a well known local Bar and Grill. It is Primanti Brothers. They are famous for their steak sandwiches. This Hampton is primarily used by business people and airline crews.Persons flying to and from PIT can leave their cars on the lot and take the hotel's shuttle to and from the airport.
