A nice place to stayPosted Mar 8, 2015
This is one of the nicer places I've stayed in quite a while. The room was quite comfortable and very clean. I didn't interact much with the staff so can't really comment. The breakfast was pretty good, but like all hotels it was heavy on the carbs. As others have mentioned, you can only drive one direction when leaving the hotel, but it's really fairly simple to figure out how to loop around in order to go the other direction. Same with how to approach the hotel. Perhaps a tad expensive, but its location is close to downtown Pittsburgh.

Okay for the price.Posted Feb 19, 2015
The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. The woman running the breakfast did a nice job. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Things seemed clean but the room smelled like cigarette smoke. It was pretty strong. I ended up buying febreeze. The area between the bed and night stand did not get vacuumed. I found a clothing tag from a previous guest and then when going through the room before checking out I found a wrapper from our first nights stay. The front lobby was nicely decorated but I don't think they mopped the salt covered floor during our 3 day stay.

Great hotel for short stayPosted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: Clean bathroom and fun décor in the lobby.
Cons: Carpeting in rooms.
Location: it is located minutes from downtown Pittsburgh.
We use this hotel when we have short, one-night stays in Pittsburgh. It is clean, well-maintained, and the staff is always courteous. We have booked the room with the Jacuzzi tub and other rooms without. While this is not classified as a luxury hotel, it is comparable to others in the area for price and cleanliness; otherwise, we would not keep going back. The Hampton offers a complimentary breakfast with a very modern lobby and seating area. All in all, it's a great deal for your money.

Very NicePosted Jan 7, 2015 on Hotels.com
It was the nicest, cleanest hotel I have every stayed at. The only thing was I am picky with my beds, they were a little springy, would love to see some memory foam mattresses, but I realize that is a difficult thing to ask for. I will go back there for sure.

Pros: Clean rooms, great service.
Cons: More parking would be a good idea.
