Location: little too far to walk to downtown, but Pitt campus close by with many places to eat, although not gourmet style
shuttle driver very accommodating on busy July 4th weekend.

My daughter's graduation from College

Posted May 18, 2014
Location: Very close to Duquesne University
Staff very friendly. Rooms clean and well appointed. Breakfast excellent. Gym small but all the equipment was up-to-date. Parking tight. Being charged for parking is ridiculous given the room rental fees.

College visits

Easy on/off access to the highway, and just a 15 minute walk to the hub of the University of Pittsburgh. A shuttle is available if you don't feel like walking, and there are great restaurants, museums and bars within a 25 minute walk down Forbes Avenue.

Great hotel near UPitt and Carnegie Mellon

Posted Apr 22, 2014
Stayed here for 2 nights with my boyfriend as a getaway trip. The hotel staff were professional and sweet any time we needed anything or had a question! Our room was great, beds were comfy, always cleaned well. The free breakfast had tons of options and coffee/tea/hot chocolate was available 24/7! They also have a free shuttle you can use to get downtown every hour. Only downsides were no room service and parking is $14 a night but these were mminor issues!

Pitt Visit

Posted Apr 19, 2014
Pros: Because they provide a shuttle, you can leave your car and not have to worry about parking. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly.
Location: Very convenient if visiting PItt - a 15 minute walk to campus.
The young lady at the front desk had so much enthusiam for her job and the hotel. A guest asked her how breakfast was and she replied "Awesome!" She was so helpful too. The shuttle driver had the same enthusiam.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Room could be a bit nicer.
Nice facilities, very nice staff, nice parking lot, great location (close to u Pitt and cmu, as well as many dining places, not too far from downtown).
