Great staff, bad roomPosted Jul 14, 2014
Beds were rock hard; like sleeping on the floor. Room was kind of small and over crowded. Outlets to charge items were sparse. TV was 36" ?

Nice Hotel - good locationPosted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Shuttle service.
Cons: Breakfast. There were four of us at the table and we each received our omlette at different times.
I would highly recommend this hotel. Rooms were large and clean. Great location to the Carneige museums. Hotel has a shuttle which was convenient for getting to/from PNC Park and Station Square.

Pros: Location near universities
Cons: Improve restaurant service put signs outside so we don't need to figure out where to park and where to enter the building.
Location: Carnegie Mellon, Pitt. Museums
Hotel is in a VERY congested area. Traffic is a pain Once we figured out how to get inside the hotel was as okay. Food service in the restaurant was slow

Excellent!!Posted May 26, 2014
Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Bar staff was hilarious. Two wedding parties were drinking yet we still had suburb service. Will be going back for our Pittsburgh travels. :)

Convenently located & less expensive than WyndhamPosted May 24, 2014
Pros: Staff is friendly. Hotel is clean.
Cons: Air conditioning run all the time and is noisy. You can't control A/C from the unity itself but only from the room's thermostat. Still slow to react
Location: Four blocks from University of Pittsburgh campus and right on Forbes Avenue which is Oakland's eatery row. The hotel is also cheaper than Wyndham.
I've stayed in Hilton Garden hotels before. They look pretty much alike no matter which town/city you're staying at. So you've got that.

nice hotel but,Posted Apr 21, 2014
I have stayed at this hotel before in the queen room and the bed was MUCH more comfortable than the King room. The king bed was SOOOOOO uncomfortable , the pillows were completely flat and very uncomfortable. The bed was an adjustable bed (very cheap) and it didnt adjust AT ALL. Just sat on a card board like base and was hard and squeaky. The front desk staff (gentleman on night shift) was short and rude when checking in. Was on the phone while I approached the desk and continued to talk and joke on the phone with whomever he was speaking to. Then told me they were changing shifts at 1100pm. The bartender at the hotel bar was very nice.
