“Nothing fancy but convenient”

We needed a room near the airport where we could spend the night after a late night flight. Nothing special about the room, but convenient. Hotel staff was very pleasant. The hotel offers regular shuttle service (about 12 minutes away) and a reasonable continental breakfast.

“Good value”

We found this hotel to be reasonably priced and had all of the amenities that we needed for a one-night stay. The king bed was very comfortable.

“Better than I thought it would be.”

This Holiday Inn was comfortable and clean. Although the hotel was undergoing renovations, it still felt ok. Staff were friendly and helpful, even at 4:00 am when several of us used their shuttle service to go to the airport.

“Clean and Reasonable Hotel”

Hotel complex was typical but importantly clean as were the rooms. I only marked this down a hair, because if you want to be close to Pitt downtown, then it's a 30 min. drive.

“One night stay”

The rooms were very clean and nicely remodeled. Disappointed with the pool and hot tub area. On-line stated that they were open until 10:00pm. Got to the hotel at 8:45pm and found that the pool closed at 9:00. We were really looking forward to the hot tub after 18 holes of golf. Also the pool water looked very cloudy. On a very positive note, the staff was very friendly and very helpful.

“will not even think about it would pay more to stay someplace else to stay...”

the staff was not helpful @ all when asked if could get a diffrent room they said they were sold out...they could have been polite about it and said lets check...i waited for a few minutes...people came in a wre given rooms so they werent sold out like they told me.

“Would stay again”

The room was very clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel is in a good area and it's easy to get where you are going. We would be happy to stay here again.

Area recommendations

Staying down town is great if attending a sporting event or the theatre district. The airport area is great for nearby shopping and when traveling. This is a great city with lots to do and see.

When to go

Check out the strip district on weekends and the theatre district any time. The Carnegie Science Center or the National Aviary are great family spots. Try the inclines on a nice day and have a meal at the top of Mount Washington for a great view of the city.

“Excellent”

The room while near the airport was quiet and very comfortable. The indoor pool and hot tub were a plus, as was the exercise room. Although I did not eat in their restaurant, there are many others close by. The hotel is part of the Park, Sleep, and Fly hotels/motels thus making it a fine place both to stay and not worry about the car.
