Close to Heinz Field and PNC Park

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: The hotel needs cleaned, rooms need ready by check-in time, Bigger pool.
Location: Heinz Field, Pnc Park, River Front Access, Carnegie Science Center
When we went to see if we could check in early we were told the 2 rooms weren't ready yet. No problem, we went to the Pirates baseball game and came back. Well after the 3Pm check in. Rooms still weren't ready. The sheets and pillow cases were dirty. The air conditioning didn't cool the room. Very disappointed with the room and staff wasn't accomidating at all except for the lady driving the shuttle who took us to Station Square.

AWESOME PLACE TO STAY

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: There are wonderful sectional corner pull out couch/bed in the corner of the room and a very roomy living area. I also loved the mini fridge.
Location: Heinze field, PNC park, Carnegie Science Museum, lots of restaurants, The water steps, the river. awesome sight seeing.
We went for a pre-season Steelers game, as well as a Pirates baseball game. Both were great, but the best thing was that this hotel was located exactly between both stadiums. We parked our car when we got to the hotel and never took it out of the lot the entire time. There was a shuttle service that took us to some sight seeing areas that we wanted to go, and we didn't have to navigate. The staff was awesome, very helpful and knowledgable! Our bill was not marked paid at the end of the stay, however, I had paid for it two months in advanceā€¦. when I told the hotel staff at the front desk, they took care of it right away with no problems! I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, decor was pleasant and up to date, elevators were quick, we felt secure. They require you to use your room key to badge into the front door during nights when lots of events are going on, which we thought was a great idea. The lobby was clean and inviting, the free breakfast was good, and well stocked. My husband and I both felt that this was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. The location is wonderful also, because it is located on the river which is beautiful. You can walk straight across the street to the beautiful water steps and sit on the grassy area and enjoy the scenery. We were very satisfied, I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone. AWESOME HOTEL!!!!!

Great location

Staff was super friendly and very helpful. If your really into eating healthy w protein for your breakfast you will want to choose to eat out somewhere versus what they serve for breakfast. Good food but not a lot of choices for protein (eggs/egg whites/turkey/grilled chicken)

Perfect for pirate game

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Location is perfect for Pirate game, just a block away from PNC. About 2 blocks from Heinz and 3 to Science Center. Staff was great at check-in. Breakfast was chaos. Like it was the first time they did it. Food quality is what you would expect at a hotel buffet.

As close as it gets to the sports stadiums. You DO have to pay an extra $19 a day for parking. NO hot tub anywhere in hotel.

Skimpy breakfast, bad mattress

Long line for breakfast. Trays not refilled. No donuts, fruit, creamer, eggs etc. Hall carpet spoiled. High price hotel because they have a captivated group attending Pittsburgh games and events
