Staff was nice and helpful. Hotel a bit outdated

Posted Mar 11, 2015
Pros: Nice staff. Close to loads of shopping and restaurants.
Cons: Remodel. better tV
Location: Close to a lot of shopping and restaurants
Staff was nice and helpful. Hotel a bit outdated and rundown. Small room but it is named Micro...Booked for Park and Fly but had to pay an additional $40 to leave my car there because I booked through AARP and orbit. Not the great value I thought it was by far.

Pros: Clean and reasonable price.
Location: Close to the airport, close to shopping.
Person working at the desk was rude. I've stayed here before and have always had a pleasant experience with nice and helpful staff. When a new employee came on duty I complained about the woman who had been working when I checked in and again the next evening. Apparently, two other customers had also complained about her.

We found bugs in the bed.

There were bugs which means it definitely wasn't clean. And when we told the front desk and showed them one of the bugs they just said sorry.

This hotel does the job.

Posted Mar 1, 2015
Pros: This hotel did the job for us. It wasn't too expensive and it had all the amenities that we needed for an overnight stay.
Location: This hotel is close to a variety of stores and restaurants.
We were in the area for shopping & dining. Microtel is close to all of this. We weren't looking for anything upscale but just a place to crash for the night. The room was equipped with a fridge, microwave and television. The hotel also offers WiFi which worked just fine. The room was also clean. In the evening when we checked in, we were sent to a room only to discover that it hadn't been cleaned yet. This was not a big deal to us. We returned to the front desk to inform the young lady on duty. She didn't act surprised whatsoever. She didn't say anything, not even any sort of apology. Had it been me working, I would've been somewhat embarrassed and apologized more than once. She re-swiped our keys, handed them to us and told us our new room number and we were on our way. In the morning when checking out, another lady was on duty at the front desk and she was very friendly. I do feel that front desk workers should be there to help and show some warmth.

One Night Stay for Business

Posted Feb 27, 2015
Rather spartan rooms - the TV clicker didn't function, but, that didn't bother me, I was there to sleep. I got there at 4PM and left at 7:30AM, in-between I slept like Buddha under the banyon tree. Semi- quiet with good mattress was what I needed - and, that is what I got. No fuss-no frills - anyone can handle it for a business night. A word of advice - take a higher level room: 'stuff' runs down hill (as any plumber would know) and I saw a travelers note at the desk that the bathroom on level 1 smelled 'ugly'.

Just a place to sleep near the airport.

Tiny tiny rooms. I was only staying at this hotel as an alternative to driving to the airport for a very early morning flight. I wasn't at all impressed.
