When on the go, it's the place to rest your head.

Pros: Price and close to where I needed to be during the day.
Cons: Up date the decor.
It was a good place to sleep at the end of the day when you are spending most of your day out exploring the area.

Pros: Access to local shopping and my daughter's college. Like that there is a microwave and refrigerator.
Our second stay. It is a reasonably priced hotel for moving my daughter in and out of her dorm each year as she is 4 hours away from home so we always spend the night in Pittsburgh.

Comfortable stay. However, had to wait for a long time for their airport shuttle, which was shared with other hotels.

hotel with very small rooms

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: The price
Cons: The rooms need better lighting. Any other changes would require a total redesign of the building (small rooms).
Location: Plenty of restaurants nearby. Some shopping: Wal-Mart, Target, IKEA. Close to the airport.
Overall, the room was OK, but very small. Lighting was barely adequate. There was not enough drawer space for two people's clothes. The bed was comfortable. Showers and bathroom facilities were fine. We appreciated the complementary continental breakfast, but the layout of the room it was in was terrible - people kept getting in each other's way - no way to prevent it.

Not very clean

Posted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: Only location
Cons: Needs a good cleaning and get rid of the cigarette smell in non-smoking rooms.
Location: Location near many stores, but just stayed overnight after a concert and headed to The Meadows Casino in Washington, Pa.
I am not used to a Wyndham hotel being so disappointing. The lobby was not very clean. We had a non-smoking room, however I think that it became a non-smoking room by just hanging a non-smoking decal on the door. The room smelled like cigarette smoke and there were many cigarette burns on the vanity and commode in the bathroom. The textured base of the tub was dirty with visible dirt in the textured bottom. It needed a good scrubbing and bleach to clean it. We showered and thank goodness there were no children that would have needed to get a bath because we would not have used it. There was dried toothpaste in the sink. The corners of the bathroom floor had dirt in them. Very disappointed and would never stay there again.

Hotel experience

Posted Aug 12, 2014
The room smelled like pee, there was only 10 T.V channels to watch. Breakfast was embrassing. The last day we went to eat they were out of waffle batter. Overall experience was ok.

Terrible staff, terrible place to stay. I'll leave it at that so my blood pressure doesn't explode.

You get what you pay for

Pros: Smoking in the room
Cons: New staff
I needed a cheap hotel for a couple nights in Pittsburgh and wanted one that allowed smoking. The clerk at the desk was not friendly what so ever. When I got in the room I noticed there wasn't an ashtray. I went down and told her that there wasn't an ashtray she said "There should be one". I said I agree but there isn't. She said "Well I don't have any". I asked what I was supposed to do and she suggested I take a cup from the coffee area. I went to Walmart and bought one. The shower had about as much pressure as a water pistol, in fact there more pressure in a Super Soaker. I guess for $65 I wasn't expecting much but I expected more than this.
