“Upscale and Kid friendly”

We traveled with a 4 and 6 year old and before we could even reach the desk the girls received backpacks with goodies and activities in them! Our bags were brought to our huge room and we were filled in on many places to eat with our kids! Then after dinner I called down for a board game and up came a backpack filled with Checkers, Old Maid and many other fun things to do. We highly recommend!

“VIP Treatment”

I say we had a 5 on cleanliness but there was a stain on the sheet. It was very small but I still preferred to have them changed. I called the front desk and within minutes one of the managers came up to change the bedding. She was incredibly apologetic and made sure to make it right. The next day we had gift from the head of housekeeping with a note of apology. Friday night we asked the concierge to give us a recommendation for dinner. Not only did she recommend something, she made reservations for the best seating and we were treated like VIPs at the restaurant. The restaurant manager came straight to our table to check on us twice, the chef came out and talked with us, and this wasn't something they did with everyone. In all the traveling throughout the world we have done, neither of us has experienced the service we received from this hotel. We plan to make Pittsburgh a regular trip and we have both decided that we will always stay at the Omni William Penn Hotel. We could not have asked for better or friendlier service. The room had a gorgeous view of a park and the beautiful architecture that Pittsburgh has to offer. The architecture of the hotel and the decor proved the quality of the hotel, and showed history. The bar was great - great drinks and amazing food. This trip was a special trip for us and the Omni played a big part in making it so special. I will never forget this weekend!

“I love this hotel!”

I love this hotel! I've stayed here before and it has always been a good experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and its location allows me to walk to most of the places I want to see especially the ball park. Most of the staff was helpful and friendly. I did have two disappointments: my room was not ready when I expected, 1/2 hour delay and I felt I was rushed out of the restaurant on the morning of our departure when I was having a relaxing breakfast with my son and the wait staff clearly had decided it was time for us to leave. They simply stopped coming by our table until they saw us rise to leave. Everything else was wonderful.

“gracious and comfortable old hotel”

This is a grand old hotel, and we enjoyed our stay. The public areas are beautiful, and our room was large and very clean. Staff was friendly, and when the room-service breakfast we ordered did not show up, it arrived promptly and free of charge right after I called about it. We would be happy to stay here again.

Staff provided remarkable service, from the doorman to the bell-hop. Only the room service operator and concierge appeared somewhat impatient when we asked questions. Everyone else was fully accommodating.

The hotel rooms are great. The style of the building and the rooms really add to the quality of the place. The Tap Room was a nice joint... always packed.

“Girls' Trip”

The price was great! I couldn't have asked for a better hotel to take my family. The staff was extremely willing to help you, if you wanted it. I chose to self park (garage very close) because I had to come and go many times and did not want to bother the valet numerous times. The accomodations were great and hope I'm as lucky in the future to get this same type of bargain.
