Convenient

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: Location was ideal.
Cons: These rooms need to be overhauled.
Hotel was just ok, we were there due to convenience to our end destination. But it was way overpriced for the accommodations. It was very basic, old peeling walls, draperies that needed to be replaced etc.

Great Place to Sleep

Posted Jun 2, 2015
Pros: Staff, Convenience, Price
Cons: Remodeled
Location: In Oakland.......Just outside of downtown Pittsburgh. Minutes away from everything to do in Pittsburgh
This is a great hotel if you are not going to spend much time in the room. My wife and I were in da burg for a concert and just needed a room. All of the hotels close to Heinz Field were way too high for a place to crash ($300 + per night). The staff was great at Quality Inn, but the hotel is outdated and needs remodeled. The shuttle took us to the T and we rode that into the stadium for the show at no charge. Took the same route back, with a minimal charge ($9.50 for both) on the T and then a cab to Quality Inn ($15). I would stay here again if in need of a cheaper alternative than the rip-offs of downtown Pittsburgh.

This is our 4th stay at this hotel, we were pleasently surprised with the changes in decoration all thru the hotel. Pleasant staff and convenient to CMU. Worth for the price.

It worked for one night

Friendly staff, room was clean, bathroom was functional but definitely needs updating. Best thing was Panera's attached to it. Very convenient to Univ of Pittsburgh.

Good location

Posted May 10, 2015
My family and I stayed at this hotel while visiting family at the hospitals. While it served its purpose and was close to our destination, it was not luxurious. We had some very noisy neighbors at 4:30 in the morning. Security quickly took care of the problem but everyone was already awake. Panera bakery in the lobby was nice for breakfast. The faucet in the tub would not close all the way to allow the shower to have good water pressure. The staff was extremely nice and helpful with any questions we had so that made it more pleasant.

Convenient stay close to Pitt's campus

Cons: smoking smell even on non-smoking floors
Stayed here once before and was impressed to see they have upgraded things so it's much nicer.
