Sad so close to college's but bellow any standards

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: nothing!
Cons: 1n the late 80's I worked for a large hotel co. If we did not meet the standards, we lost the name. What are your standards Quality Inn?
Location: nothing to say! Read above!
Smelly, not clean and grossss! Why would I tell you about my experience? All you need to know is not to stay here!

Good in a Pinch

When there are no other options, it's a fine option. Pretty dirty, killer view of cathedral made it just fine though. Will do it again.

I came to Pittsburgh for a bodybuilding competition, the hotel was priced low but the quality was good, the bed was comfy, ac was nice and cold and the bathroom was clean with hot water!

A very value hotel close to Universities

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: I like this hotel overall, and I thinks it is suitable for people who come to University for a short period (1-3 days) while limited in budget.
Cons: It needs a overall renovation.
Location: University of Pittsburg, UPMC, CMU
The best of this hotel is its location, either going to UPMC or University, it only takes you 5 mins in Walking, while comparing with other hotel it offers a attractive price. The hotel staffs are helpful and friendly, and it has a panera on the ground floor. The disappointing thing is, all facilities in this hotel are extremely old, and the room has a musty smell, sometimes it's a little bit noisy if your room located to the evaluator and ice machine.

Was close to where we needed to be.

Posted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: Close proximity to hospital we were in Pittsburgh for.
Cons: Staff communication skills for interacting!
Location: Not sure, however we did see a beautiful park/recreation area close and it is walking distance to a couple hospitals.
Parking is shared with the Restuarant and lot is very small and close quarters. Staff seemed to be preoccupied, and hotel is a bit outdated, however clean. Staff was rude when we were checking out.

Just OK

Posted Aug 12, 2014
I basically booked this hotel based off price and location. Pros: close to UPitt, Shadyside, dowtown Free parking and WiFi, clean, Panera bread, free coffee in lobby Cons: very dated/old hotel, bathroom was old but clean and looked like the wall tiles were dangling off, very noisy area - we could hear ambulance sirens and cars driving, balcony wasn't nice - no chairs and lots of cigarette butts, couldn't get the air conditioner to work properly which was also very noisy. Hotel cleaning staff started vacuuming rooms next to mine at 8:30am and were banging around...yes, we were trying to sleep in since we were woken up all night by cars outside. If you don't plan on being in your room too long, then this hotel wouldn't be bad.

Very nice staff. Needs updated. Toilet leaked.

I would stay there again if the rooms were updated. Too expensive for what you get.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Upkeep should be better.
Location: Centrally located.
The bare minimum was met. The room should have been cleaner and smell better. They should offer a continental breakfast.

Pros: location, Panera bread inside
Cons: make it look less like an old HoJo
Location: Phipps Conservatory, museums, college campuses
