Nice clean place to stay

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Clean, comfortable bed, convenient location.
Cons: Hair dryer and more towels in the room. Snack vending machine.
Room was clean. Not enough towels in the room for 2 people but all I had to do was ask the front desk for more. No hair dryer in the room. Bed was comfortable. Girl at the front desk didn't seem real happy that I booked my stay through Expedia. When I ask why the rate wasn't on the paper she wanted me to initial the rate, she replied with a nasty attitude that she didn't know what the rate was because I didn't book through them, I booked through Expedia. She was a little nicer when I went to the desk for more towels. I would stay there again.

Not Worth of What paid

Posted Apr 28, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
1st important thing, This hotel Red Roof inn doesn't have a physical address for GPS, If you ask them while check-in they will give you a different address, Why they giving there if it's right they might changed address or put in website for GPS address. And finally I'm saying Not Worth of What I paid with staying because I usually Stayed better rooms in hotels with the money, It's only 50% of worth what I paid. So the hotel room prices would 50% of the rates right now is worth. In rooms everything is old.

Nice hotel in good location

Posted Apr 15, 2014
Me and my girlfriend recently went on a trip to Pittsburgh and were pleasantly surprised with the condition and location of the hotel. Room and facilities were in very good condition. Downtown Pittsburgh was a quick 20 minute drive and if you're looking for a quieter day there was plenty of stuff to do that was all just a short drive away. Including a wonderful mall!

Better choices in area

Location: Have a great dinner at The Juniper Grill nearby.
Bed very uncomfortable and too noisy since it is located next to PA Turnpike.

Major security concern!

Posted Feb 25, 2014
The room was fine, but double-lock your doors! My wife and I moved our bags into the room, and I left her to shower and get ready for bed while I went out to see a local friend. Shortly thereafter, the lady at the front desk gave our room card out to some guy who walked right in on my wife, thinking the room was empty and ready for him. Thankfully the guy was not a creep and quickly left, went back to the front desk, and got a different room. The front desk didn't even have someone call to apologize. When I complained the next day, only then did the manager apologize and give me an excuse, blaming their computer system. Great... it wasn't incompetence on the part of one worker, it's a computer check-in system that will reproduce incompetence nationally!

fine for the money

Posted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: staff, room cleanliness
Location: located close to shopping and restaurants
This hotel room was $40-50 cheaper than any room around. It is 100% smoke free, had new bathroom fixtures, new beds, new flat screen tv. The hotel staff was friendly and efficient. However, the beds were a little hard, the pillows were a little hard, the sheets were a little scratchy, and the towels were small and not too thirsty. Overall, fine experience for the money.

Clean in Cranberry

Posted Feb 3, 2014
Pros: Clean and conveniently located
Cons: Coffee maker in room would be nice
Location: Cranberry Home and Garden Show
Nice clean hotel. Very basic needs. No coffee maker, hair dryer, fridge or microwave. Met my needs while there for business. I needed a nice clean place to sleep and it definitely provided that.

simple but clean

Posted Feb 3, 2014
We just needed somewhere to spend the night as we had to leave by 5:00am. I wanted a hotel that was clean and comfortable. I didn't want to spend money on a bunch of extras I didn't need. This hotel fit the bill. It was very simple but very clean.
