Pleasent surprise

Posted Mar 4, 2015
Pros: They had a pool table and a video room which is nice.
Cons: Yes, they need new waffle makers, the waffles were horrible. But all the other food were delicious.
It was a stay with my sons going to see the Phantom of the Opera. The staff was very friendly, Alex she was great very helpful. I explained why we were visiting. She told us about how the shuttle runs etc. The room was more than I expected they had a nice little kitchen. I did use for making dinner, so we didn't have to go out. The tv was a good fit, I could watch it in bed or on the couch. My son watched while I was sleeping so it didn't bother me. My youngest enjoyed playing pool. It kept him busy while I was reading.

Nice Hotel

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: Location is great.
Cons: No one serviced our room and we were gone all day on Saturday. Not a real big deal as we were only staying two nights.
Location: Storm hit, so we just went to the SOHO resteraunt down the street and had a great meal for the whole family.
Great Room - we had a 1 bedroom suite. Furnishings are nice and updated.

The one bedroom suites are great espcially if you have little ones who need to sleep before the parents. With being 5 years old, it is nice to hear that our furnishings look new and updated. We do hope you come see us again in the future.

Excellent Hotel

Posted Feb 10, 2015
We booked this hotel for one night because we were going to the Garth Brooks concert at the Console Energy Center. It is amazing. I didn't realize that it was an extended stay hotel when I booked it. I can't speak for people who stay there long term, but for one night, it is the best hotel 8've ever stayed at. The front desk was very helpful in answering any questions. There is a hotel shuttle that will take you anywhere you want to go within 3 miles of the hotel. The room was very comfortable and was more like an apartment than a hotel room. Complete with full kitchen, living room, bedroom, and full bathroom. There was a pool, a gym, a billiards room, a theater, an office room (with computers and printers), a breakfast room, and a little convenient store area where you could buy snacks and drinks. The hotel is right across the street from PNC Park. The "room service" is actually food from a restaurant that is right across the parking lot. The free breakfast buffet was amazing! The food was so good and there were so many things to choose from. The only con that I could possibly list, is that they charge a daily parking fee of $22.00.

I am delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay with us for the Garth Brooks concert. I am happy to see you were able to utilize the many amentities the hotel has to offer such as the complimentary breakfast and the shuttle. I am sorry that the only con was the parking fee, but with being a downtown location, we lease are parking so thus the charge for it. I am glad that didn't change our mind about staying with us again. I hope to see you again in the future.

Only 1 mile from Consol Energy Center. Clean rooms. However breakfast needs to be upgraded and more choices with different types of meat

We are very convenient to Concol Energy Center by either using the complimentary hotel shuttle or the light rail system. I aplogize for the lack of different types of meats during your stay on the weekend, but we follow a rotation provided by Marriott. . I am glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to having you stay with us again.

A girls get away

I booked the room for my daughter's sleepover. The room, staff, facilities were great. The breakfast was wonderful. Unfortunately, the only thing that I do not care for being charged for parking at the hotel. I feel that is a slap in the office to customers.

I am happy that your daughter had a great sleepover and you guys enjoyed your stay. Our breakfast is delicious with a variety of hot and cold items. In being in an urban location, we unfortunately have to charge for parking since the hotel does not own the parking lot.

Christmas visit 2014.

Posted Dec 27, 2014
We were visiting for the week for Christmas and needed a 2-bedroom suite as we brought my mother-in-law. The room was fantastic -- clean, spacious and comfortable. The location was ideal as we needed to get to various parts of the area. The staff was superb. We will stay again!

Good Trip Go Pitt!

Overall was a good stay for my parents and I. We always stay at residence Inn hotels when we travel because we like the full kitchen and extra amenities you don't get at other hotels. Being walking distance to Heinz Field was perfect for the game and we enjoyed breakfast before our drive home Monday morning. Our only disappointment was that there is not a hot tub at this location.
