Pet Un-friendly

I was very upset because when I booked the room, I asked the rep at Hotels.com to look for a pet friendly hotel. He failed to mention there is a $75 pet fee. The hotel receptionist was not helpful at all and continued to badmouth hotels.com, but offered me no discount or alternative.

Convenient and Enoyable

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn. The location is great. It's close to all things in Pittsburgh and has a Quaker Steak, Buffalo Wild Wings, Rita's, a small shopping plaza and a mall all within walking distance.The only bad thing was that the ladies that cleaned the rooms knocked on our door at 9am and tried to get in the room while we were still in bed and woke us up.

Great hotel, bad bed!

The hotel was great. Check in was easy, they were very accomodating for our 14mo son. They have DVDs, books, and games available in the lobby. The pool was great - warm, and clean. The layout of the suite was great. Breakfast was great, lots of options, and the waffles were a treat. The only downside was the bed. The mattress was very firm and neither of us slept much. We will not be staying there again because of the bed - it was that uncomfortable. However, if you like firm beds, than I highly recommend the hotel.
