This is such a quaint little place. There are only 3 rooms, but that could definitely be seen as a positive. From the moment I walked in, the owner was down to earth and friendly. He took some time to show me around and tell me where things were located. When I got to my room, kind of felt like I was in Egypt~ called Egyptian Room with that kind of decor. It was a nice stay. I went early~to just spend some time there, before my event in a nearby town. Took a walk around Leechburg and also spent time reading the paper on the porch. Quaint and quiet. Very comfortable bed and sheet, while there is a shared bath, no problems there. Also a refrigerator is provided in the room, as is a closet and other furniture, like you would normally see. I will definitely make a return stay there. Get a choice of breakfasts served to your order and liking in the morning. I really wish I had more time there in the am, but needed to get to work. Blah, but I like it here!! It is away from the 'burgh, but within a short trip, if planning to spend any time there as well. I like the small feel of Leechburg though to tell you the truth and would also like to experience the restaurants in the area.

We wanted a trip to see a Pirates game. We searched Expedia and found this gem. Friendly staff (In a conversation with one of the breakfast staff she mentioned the adjoining church, now used as a ballroom, primarily for weddings. That led to an offer to get inside to see it. It happened to be an ear exact replica of Linda's grandparents Church in Hazelton PA- simply a great experience due only to the friendliness of a staff member). The front desk staff was also extremely helpful. We were pleasantly surprised to keep our car in the hotel parking lot and to use the free shuttle for the remainder of the day after we checked out. Pittsburgh was a bit of a surprise for us - beautiful and we intend to come back and will choose the Priory again.
