“Love this hotel”
We come back to this hotel every Christmas season. Great location for shopping. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is wonderful and the exercise room is very nice!
“not impressed”
the breakfast was not good. the beds were very uncomfortable. the pool was dirty. the customer service was wonderful. very friendly!
“the bathroom was very dirty”
The room was nice but it wasnt clean.the toilet i had to wash because it was dirty when we arrived there was hair all over the bathroom floor.things werent clean
“Impressed”
I wish there would have been more variety with continental breakfast but other that everything was great! Staff was very helpful.
“Great value, very clean and close to mall and attractions.”
Great hotel close to shopping and restarants. Very clean with a large room for a great price. Staff was accomodating and friendly. Very easy to find and close to a large mall and numerous restaurants. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.
“Mostly satisfied”
The room was comfortable especially the bed. Did not like the shower. The clock and phone were broken. The buffet was not exciting. But over all I loved the area. There was a lot to do near by. It was easy to find and conveniently located. I would stay there again.
“Grumpy Front Desk Staff”
We booked the hotel and pre-paid through Expedia for three nights. After we arrived at around 8:30 PM, we were given a room on the 3rd floor. When we went to the room, the key worked, but the room was locked from inside. We attempted to unlock it from outside. After a few tries, we realized the room was already occupied. (We assumed that we did not hear any cursing words from inside when we tried to break in their privacy.) Thus, we had to go back to the front desk and got another room. I have to qualify that this particular staff was not cranky, but perhaps too busy to pay attention. The next morning, we received a statement indicating our balance for a one-night stay. Thus, I called the font desk. I was then told that your rate would be different since the computer showed you only booked for one night. After I told her that I have already pre-paid, she said that you had to come downstairs and show them the proof. On the third day, we were given another statement showing our balance. I called the front desk again. She told me the same story that I had to come to the front desk. After I showed her the statement, she said "OK." That is it. No apology nor smile. When we dealt with the front desk, they never say sorry or smile (except the first night when we checked in.) Overall, the hotel stay was not that bad, but the front desk manager and staff seem to suffer some kind of sleep deprivation all the time.
“Nice place to stay”
Nice place to stay with our family of 2 small children. Breakfast was a nice perk to the stay! Was close to restaurants and shopping.
“Enjoyable, very comfortable stay”
Stayed ttwo nights at this hotel while visiting Duquesne University. It was about 15 minutes away (not during rush hour) . The room was comfortable and clean. The shower was great. The staff was courteous and friendly. The area has many stores and restaurants very close, some were even walkable. The breakfast was good, they were out of eggs the first day when we showed up 15 minutes before closing, but they refilled them. The second days choices were a little different than the first. I would definitely stay here again, I really enjoy a suite for lounging in with my family and a refrigerator for keeping our own snacks in.
“Great Hotel!”
The hotel was easy to find and had friendly personnel. The room was a nice size with a seating area and sleeping area, both with TV's. The two areas were side by side so if part of the family wanted to stay up and watch TV, the light was bothersome to those who wanted to sleep. There was also a small "kitchenette" with a small frig, microwave, and sink. The free breakfast was good although it was exactly the same for the 3 mornings we were there. They had waffles, donuts, cold cereals, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, and apples. The pool, whirlpool, and fitness room were nice and well maintained. We would definitely stay at SpringHill Suites again.
