“5th trip to this hotel. Gets better each times”

The Springhill Suites is a division of Marriott. The room was large, a kitchenette, a small living and work area, a separate bath area and a king size bed. Rooms that face the back of the property are level with a road the goes up a steep hill in the back. Car headlights flash in the room. I had to take binder clips to keep the curtains closed. The room was quiet despite being next to the elevators. The bed was a bit lumpy. Also the internet service did not work well. I had to use a broadband card for my computer. The front desk did not have any IT experience to make it work. They gave me a number to call - I didn't bother since I had a back up. There is a pool and whirlpool. I did not use them this trip.

“perfect room for a family”

this room worked out great for us. there was five of us (2 adults and 3 children) and the suite was perfect for us. the microwave and fridge came in handy. the room was very clean. front desk pleasant. we would definitely stay again.

We went to the Pittsburgh Zoo/Aquariumand, not knowing the city, selected our hotel from your description and ratings. It was a half hour away, and we probably passed others we could have stayed at, but we weren't in the least disappointed. Everything we needed was there including a very nice, heated, indoor pool, mini-market and good breakfast with tasty, made on the spot whole wheat waffles, yum!

The hotel offers many services that are convinience for guest. My favours are: internet, delicious breakfast, fitness center, swiming pool, 24 hrs mini market. Best of all, these are all included in my reservation with no extra charge.

“Excellent Accommodations”

We were very pleased with the hotel staff's frendliness and professional demenor. Breakfast was well stocked and well done. The only disapointment was the hot tub in the pool area was down for maintenance. Otherwise a perfect stay.

I forgot to reverse directions to get home from Mapquest to make it easier on us traveling. The hotel staff were very helpful and provided the directions for me. Being courteous works both ways! I am glad we chose this hotel. I really enjoyed the room layout as well. It was a refreshing change from other places.

“Great place for a family trip”

We've stayed here before and probably will again in the future. A nice hotel, a good place to stay while visiting family. A small indoor pool, small work-out room, clean and comfortable rooms, and a good breakfast buffet. They are in the middle of remodeling during our visit so things didn't look their best this time, but it was great to see that they are upgrading what was already a good place. The staff, and even the workmen doing the construction, where pleasant and helpful.
