“May want to spring an extra $10 and go somewhere else”

For a traveler on a budget this hotel does have a low price and is serviceable, but if I were to pass through the area again I would pay a little more and stay somewhere else. The bathroom and sheets were clean, but the blankets were old and sticky, the room smelled musty and the heater grate was so dirty that I refrained from using it so not to fill the room with dust. No complaints about customer service though, and the continental breakfast was fine.

“Decent value for money”

My ratings are in context of value for money. This is an inexpensive lodging, not the Paris Ritz, so keep that in mind. Nothing here is 1st class or luxurious, but you are not paying for that. The beds are a bit uncomfortable, but I've been in worse, even in rooms costing $200 a night or more. So if the location suits and you want a clean place for a little money it's fine.

“No desire to go back to this place”

This place is depressingly mediocre in every regard. I was told at check-in that since I booked with Expedia there was no guarantee that I'd get the non-smoking room I had reserved. The room smelled of smoke that had been masked with some sort of air freshener. The other disappointment was the cheap mattress. You could almost feel the springs poking through.

“it is ok for 1 night”

We stayed there because it was the closest place for our friends house - otherwise I would not go there. Very creepy neighborhood - some kind of car dumpster or something like that just next to hotel. The screens on hotel windows were broken although no storm happened for last several months. Inside it was pretty clean but the constant smell of the cleaners was everywhere. Honestly I was afraid to leave my car outside on the parking lot.

very noisy. Expedia gave us a smoking room even though I selected non-smoking. Apparently this selection is just to express your preference. The housekeeping staff didn't do a very good job or prepping the room for new guests.

“Super Grease instead of Super 8”

This place should have been called Super Grease as opposed to Super 8. The whole room smelled of grease. It was if somebody had just removed a deep fryer that had been cooking fries for the prior 5 years. It was in the walls, carpet and fabrics. If anybody had an ignition soure, the whole place would have gone up like in flames. I could have wrapped a scrap of the curtains or bedspread and wrapped it around a stick and had a torch that could last for days. The chair in the room was covered in stains. I don't know what kind of bodily fluids left the stains, but it wasn't hard to guess. The guy at the counter was totally inept. I had to walk him through the check-in process. I would suggest going to another motel. This place blows.

“Nice stay with no problems”

The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and was an overall pleasant experience.

“Nothing Special but a good choice for the price”

Good choice for an inexpensive place to sleep if need to be in the Pittsburg area and only need the basics of a room and bed. Two complaints were the continental breakfast which was nothing more than cold cereal and bread, so need to plan for breakfast elswhere. Second was a strange smell outside the building and in the hallways which seemed to be coming from the laundry room when they washed the hotel linens. But overall would recommend it for anyone looking for a cheap place to sleep

“Great value”

The service was good. The room was clean. I only stayed one night but was very pleased overall. I will definitely stay there again next time I need a place in Monroeville.
