Nice staff but no "wow"

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: The staff was so nice! From the front desk staff, to the bartenders, to the servers, & housekeepers we saw in the hall...everyone was so friendly!
Cons: The pictures online are very deceiving and make the rooms look bigger. Clean the bathrooms and every nook and cranny (BOOKS and remote!!)
Location: Close to many restaurants and the theatre area.
Was disappointed on how small the room was. Since we were only staying one night, we didn't complain. The room was a little dirty though. The bathroom was dusty and the tiles were dirty. It was annoying that we had to get sprayed with COLD water to turn on the shower. The way the glass and door were set, you have to get in and get sprayed in order to get hot water. Also, the books in the room were FILTHY. I had to wash my hands after I touched them. It was close to our show and easy to get to for out of towner's- like ourselves- that don't know the area.

Great location!

Wonderful location right on the water. I was given this hotel as an Expedia mystery location. Pretty good hotel. The walls are very thin- you can interact with the people in the next room. The cleaners knocked on my door at 830am on a Saturday to clean my room- not nice. But, the staff was helpful and friendly.

For an NFL playoff weekend was the perfect hotel. Speedy check in, accommodating staff, clean room, decent hotel bar.

Very expensive

Posted Jan 9, 2015
Pros: The bar
Cons: valet parking was a mess.
Location: tons of stuff to do nearby
Everything was great except the price. Rooms very small for over $400.00 per night.

Grand Wyndham not so grand.

No available parking on site; valet full. Smallest king size bed I've ever slept on. Pillows did not provide any support. Bedside lamp and bathroom light non-functional.

I had a reservation for a king size bed but the hotel did NOT honor this. Instead, they put me in a room with 2 double beds ... and given that I am 6'9", this was obviously NOT comfortable. I was unsuccessful in getting hotel staff to move me to another room, as they said they couldn't do "anything" since I had reserved this through Expedia.
