Great location in Downtown Pittsburgh

Pros: Location
Cons: Hotel is a little worn.
Location: Lots of restaurants.
The location was great, close to restaurants and athletic complexes. The hotel is a little older, bath small, but the location made up for those.

30 Dollars to park your car?

Pros: A beautiful building inside and out and a very friendly staff/
Cons: The car congestion at the front of the hotel and not knowing where and what was going on because of all the congestion and then finding out the cost.
I was a little shocked to find out on arrival that I'd have to pay $30.00 to park my car. There was also a lot going on when I got there and it continued throughout my 2 day stay. I'd have to think long and hard about booking another stay at this hotel and getting in and out of the hotel was a chore.

Loved the pool. Parking was expensive but we found our own garage across the street. Comfy beds.

Pros: great location
great location, close to theaters and market square area. great views and access to the park near the rivers

Zero refund

Was delayed overnight in another country due to flights. Received zero refund, discount nor credit towards a future stay. Would never recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Nice, friendly staff. Not very nice hotel

Front desk, bell hops, valet, were excellent. That's where the excellence ends. Server cart from breakfast was still in the hallway after midnight when we returned to our room. Rooms are very small. Mattresses were absolutely awful. Mold on shower curtain. Bathroom floor was dirty. I could go on, but you get the message.

what else could go wrong?

Pros: It had a pool - small but it was a pool that my children could swim in - very strong in chlorine and cloudy....
Cons: Everything. cleanliness, staff issues, looking after their guests in an acceptable manner!! i could keep going
Location: its very close to a lot of attractions
The room had a yuck smell like it had been damp recently, the bathroom had 'hair' from previous guests on the floor and bathroom walls. Oh and WATCH OUT for fraudulent calls to your room! we ordered room service the 1st night and the next day was called at our room and asked to pay for the room service and that our credit card was needed - ah NO i will go down to reception and clear this up and the guy got very short on the ph demanding payment of our room service (and what makes it worse is he knew the amount of our dinner incl tip!) - yeah no payment required and yeah fraudulent call and yeah no help or anything regarding this very serious matter by hotel staff or management.. one staff member changed her story 3 times while talking to me?!! Internal staff issue!!! Fraud issue!!! and no update on the matter either and we stayed 3 nights! we did not order any further room service following that incident - wow would expect better service from a hotel like this. Plus they have stuffed up the payment and charged twice (confirmed with my bank even!) yep waiting on this to all be sorted. plus we weren't told of an event that was held across the road and that there would be road closures by the hotel that meant getting to and from the hotel a nightmare AND we had paid each night for valet... a lot of money spent not a good experience - i have had better from a lot cheaper places...

Excellent value for last minute booking

Pros: Everything starting from check-in to valet parking service to check out.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect. No surprises.
Location: Central location within walking distance to Market Square and Station Square.
We had a change in travel plans and decided to visit Pittsburgh. We managed to get an excellent low rate for this hotel using the Undisclosed rate, where we do not know the name of the hotel until after booking. I have used this for several years and I have never been disappointed. Hotel was beyond our highest expectations.
