We enjoy walking through a city and this hotel was in the right location for such an adventure. My favorite aspect of the hotel was the breakfast, which was by far the best hotel breakfast I have ever experienced.

This hotel is great, right close to shopping and restaurants. The view from the roof top at night is amazing. The acropolis lights up at night and you can sit on the roof, enjoy a glass of wine and watch the lights of Athens and surrounding area. The room was spacious, nice bathroom, comfortable bed.

We enjoyed our stay of two nights and would definitely recommend the hotel to others. It is in an excellent position between Syntagma and the Plaka and the bonus is the rooftop terrace bar with a view of the Acropolis. This gets really busy in the evening as it can be used by non residents. Rooms and bathrooms are small but furnished and decorated nicely. Breakfast buffet was fine.

Quaint and touristy, Athens’ oldest residential quarter sits in the shadow of the Acropolis. Plaka’s narrow cobbled streets are lined with bougainvillea-clad neoclassical mansions, souvenir shops and pseudo-traditional tavernas, some with live music. A village atmosphere prevails, despite the crowds. Close to all the top sights, it makes the best base for a short stay.
