Cons: Slight musty smell in the room.
Location: Easy to find and convenient.
Staff was knowledgeable of the area and helpful, providing local menus and directions to restaurants.

Dismal breakfast and service!

Location: Not far from I-10 and the plantations in the area.
Upon arriving at the hotel and in checking in the clerk was very helpful and the room was comfortable. Unfortunately, the hallways were quite dirty and the breakfast was dismal. At the breakfast, there was a staff member watching TV the entire time we were there who did not offer any help even when it should have been obvious that we needed some. We had to go to the front desk who then directed the staff member in the breakfast area to help us. I would not stay at this hotel again. (Also, if you stay be prepared for trains. We could hear train horns all night long!)

Miscommunication on reservations.

Pros: Very clean
Cons: Found none.
Location: Good location. Few miles from destination of touring Nottoway Plantation.
Every thing was fine and thoroughly enjoyed. We had a miscommunication about reserving the rooms. I used a credit card to hold the rooms only and pay cash upon arrival. I knew the charges would make the card go over limit. Our rooms reservation was actually cancelled, but the nice and efficient dest clerk still found us 2 non-smoking rooms next to each other. I guess that is the only strike against reserving on line is you don't actually talk to a person. The Breakfast was excellent.

Nice hotel, the surrounding neighborhood was kind of bleak.
