Hotel Kutuma is an oasis in Montreal. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and large. THe hotel is situated in a wonderful part of town, not around all the noise of downtown. Yet, it is only a few minutes walk to everything you want. The staff is helpful and attentive to your needs.
We have stayed there before and it is our favorite place to call 'home' in Montreal.
"Gorgeous park adjacent, in the heart of Le Plateau"
A lovely small hotel right by a gorgeous big park. Beautiful room, well maintained, delicious breakfast served until the civilized hour of 10:30 am. I have already told my parents to stay there when they visit Montreal. A little pricey unfortunately but no more so than any other place.
We always try and stay at Anne ma soeur Anne whenever we find ourselves in Montreal which is frequently since our children study there. Its right in the heart of the city, its price point is low and fair and the rooms are charming and well equipped. The fresh form the bakery croissants hanging on your doorknob every AM plus good quality coffee in the rooms are an added bonus.
Only downside I see is accessibility as it is only an option if you can manage stairs
We had a great time at this unassuming hotel in the Francophone heart of Montreal. Small, clean, air-conditioned rooms, a friendly staff (it helps if you speak French or Spanish, as they speak limited English), free breakfast, and comfortable facilities all made for a nice stay. The bathrooms and showers are shared, but clean, with plenty of hot water, and we never had to wait to use one. But it is the location that truly sets this hotel apart. Literally next door to the Mont-Royal subway station, on a bustling corner of Saint-Denis and Mont-Royal streets, the neighborhood is full of interesting cafes, restaurants, bookstores, boutiques, chocolatiers, and much more. The amazing access to everything made this our favorite part of Montreal. We would definitely recommend staying here.
Before I went there, I read some bad reviews of this hotel. I was very upset. When I got there with my husband, the frontdesk welcomed us with a nice smile. He found a free parking for us. He helped us to bring our luggages. Our room is very clean, beautiful, the bed is comfortable. The only thing I don't like is the washroom is a bit small, but at least is private. Hotel staff gave us free map and introduced the city's main attractions to us. The hotel is close to the subway station and most of the main attractions. We really enjoy our stay and definitely we will come back again.
