“Free Breakfast?”

The room overall was Ok, it was clean the bed was comfortable the shower was good. However, they advertize a free breakfast and the facility for this is incredibly inadequate. We stayed a Friday night and they were very close to full, including what appeared to be a high school football team but we went down to breakfast and the room was packed and a long line to get at the food. If you got through the line there was no place to sit down. We decided to come back 15 to 20 minutes later in hopes the football team would have cleared out. When we came back, the situation was the same. We checked out and had breakfast elsewhere. When I complained to the manager, her response was well we serve from 7:00 to 10:00, implying I should come back later, however I told her if I have to be someplace by 9:00 that doesn't help me, she said they had a full house and she was sorry. However, there is no way that space could handle the hotel being even half full. I booked partieally because of the free breakfast and I wish hotels like this would not do breakfast if they don't have adequate facilties, I would rather you take $10 off the room and I will have breakfast eslewhere. Its what I had to do anyway.

“Convenient and Quiet”

We stayed 1 night for a college visit and really would suggest La Quinta - best value of all the hotels. It is not located on the main road so you do not have the noise from the traffic - just a 1/4 mile to the main road. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was great - hot and cold items. My bed was a little too soft for me, but the room was new looking - carpeting everywhere looked new - the bathroom looked new - and the room was clean! Would definately stay there again!

“misleading”

The management needs to manage the custodial staff better. It wouldnt take much more effort to raise the rating of this hotel. I will not be staying there again due to its not being very clean.

“Pleasantly surprised”

We have been staying at this particular La Quinta for about 5 years. Earlier in the summer we had two separate stays where the motel looked like it was getting worn. Nice people, pretty frayed at the edges. This stay was much different. Our room was very clean, neat and comfortable. The exercise room had new equipment. Breakfast included some new, healthier choices. Same nice staff people. Same great pool area. Always a great location. Great job!

Good clean comfortable hotel. Toilet did not work upon arrival and it was fixed right away.

“Worn around the edges”

I'm torn about LaQuinta. My family has stayed there over the past several years during Parent's Weekend and pickup at our childrens' camps in the summer. The location is perfect. The people who work there are great. There is a clean pool and exercise room. The breakfast is fine. There are stores in the neighborhood where we can buy things easily the kids need. The local church is a pleasure to attend. There is a AAA office right across the street. What's not to like? But, the last two times I've stayed the rooms have had an odor. The first smelled like the cleaning person had wiped the room down with a damp cloth; not very fresh. This time there was a underlying smoke smell, and there were two spots in the carpeting that had pieces stuck on them, like an accident had happened. It made the room look questionable. I was offered a new room the first time, and I didn't comment to the front desk the second time. If they had another room to offer I'm sure they would of offered it. The thing is, I want to arrive to a room that is clean and neat the first time because the cost for the rooms has risen over these several years. I think we will probably continue to stay at LaQuinta because the positives outweigh the negatives but it is a little sad and annoying.

“will not go back there”

the rooms was not clean the bathtub had this black stuff on the bottom of the tub had to clean myself before i use it they gave my room key i open the room they had wet towel on the bath floor and no towels i report this all they did give more towels not good ! will not go back again.

“OK, but nothing special.”

Our room was clean and adequate, but very small. Two double beds accounted for nearly all the space in the room, and the mattresses were somewhat soft and didn't seem to be high quality. The hotel's convenience from the highway and the continental breakfast in the morning were nice touches, and the wireless internet was a plus. The pool and the exercise room were big hits with my kids, but unimpressive to my husband in terms of size and quantity/quality of exercise equipment.

“Great buy”

I forgot my pillow in the hotel, and When I called they were more than happy to have it mailed to me for a small charge. In general, our stay was very pleasant and we were pleased to find a fairly new and cheery room.
