“Unsatisfactory”

Had room with 2 double beds. Beds seemed extra small. Pillows were very flat. There was a stain on the floor. The heat had not been turned on prior to us arriving thus it was ice cold in the room when we got there.

“Ok for the price”

For half the price of a night at most other cheap hotels, you can't argue. The hotel is clean and safe, even though the neighborhood has seen better days. The hotel is close to the interstate, close to the ferry landing, and close to downtown. The wifi signal is poor anywhere except the main office and even the non-smoking rooms are greatly affected by the smoking rooms downstairs. In our room, the toilet and tub were in the bathroom and the sink was where a closet normally would be found. Although the bed was hard, if you need a place to rest your head for a night, at this price you can't ask for much more.

“Will never go back”

I've been to other Super 8 hotels and my experience has been that they are basic but decent. This hotel looks old and worn and it has a generally shabby appearance on the inside. Even the air in the hallways smelled stale. There was a huge bug on the wall of our room, When we took showers the water stayed in the bathtub and I was told by the front desk that it seemed to be happening to all the guests. They do have a free continental breakfast but it is as basic and cheap as you can get. I would definately not go back. My advice would be to spend a few extra dollars and get something better to stay in elsewhere. On a positive note the lady at the front desk was quite friendly.

“Good for what we needed and paid for”

The hotel's location was superb, right off the highway and across from Plattsburgh City Beach. The room was ready when we checked in and just what we booked Hallways smelled of smoke, but our room did not smell. This hotel is old, but fairly clean and the service was pretty good as well.

DIRTY-there was mold on the ice machine, black walls (from dirt) by exit doors. paint was peeling

“Wi-Fi didn't work in our room”

I had to go to the lobby in order to connect to the internet. This was a big disappointment and inconvenient (a long walk) because I had several crucial messages to get and send.

“not impressed.”

The indoor pool that was promised in the advertisement and the sign outside, was in disrepair. We had opted for a non smoking room, it was clear that it was a smoking motel. When you entered any part of the motel, you were hit with the thick smell of cigarettes.

Hotel over all was fine. The pool was closed(not sure why). Would stay again.
