Goo value for your money

Posted Nov 14, 2014
Pros: Clean, updated room
Cons: Exterior is a little drab. Too bad they can't do anything about the boat/RV storage right next to them.
Location: Close proximaty to good restaurants, shopping & IMAX theater.
When I drove up to the hotel I was a bit skeptical about my overnight stay. But I was pleasantly surprised by the interior of the room. Everything had been freshened up i.e. recently painted and nice furniture. I would stay again on my next business trip to Pleasanton.

If you like freeway noise, you'll like this place

Posted Nov 5, 2014
Cons: Double pane windows. Always on feature on the heater/cooler.
The hotel sits right on I-580 and every room get blasted by the car noise. While the heater fan sometimes helps at hotels, this unit did not have an 'always on' function to create enough white-noise to block the cars... needless to say, it's difficult to get a good nights sleep.

Convenient to East Bay area activities.

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: The lobby and housekeeping staff were excellent. My room was very nice, free wi fi was great, and the location was easy for family and friends.
Cons: Magnetic key cards
Location: Your hotel is convenient to San Francisco (lots of Giants fans), to East Bay cities and the wine country of the tri-county area.
I would recommend this hotel to others. The staff were friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast and papers were nice. The housekeeping staff person was especially nice and did an excellent job. I just had 2 concerns, my magnetic key card didn't work on two separate days, but the office staff corrected this each time. The other concern is a bit more worrisome. I had to be at the San Jose airport at 5:45 AM. I had an early wake-up call and was able to gain entrance to the lobby to check out. The security guard and a manager were in the lobby and my check out went smoothly. However, the manager expressed concern that I wanted to wait inside for my ride. He stated that guests were not supposed to be in the office before 6:00 AM and that if other guests saw me they would want to come in too. He also stated that there was a camera in the lobby area and management would not like it if I was in the lobby area so early. He did say he could let me wait 5 or 10 minutes. As a 70 year old single woman guest I was concerned that my ride would not arrive before my 10 minutes was up. Fortunately my ride came in a timely manner and I was able to make my flight.

Great value hotel

Posted Oct 3, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, clean room, seems like a really safe area.
Cons: More space to have breakfast, you will likely share a table with someone else.
Location: Ten minutes walk from the BART. The ride into SF takes about 45 minutes but I thought it was fun and easy.
I used the hotel to go into SF for a conference for about 4 days.

Fine lodgings for the Hughland Games!

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: I liked this hotel for its proximity to the event we were attending, its cleanliness, comfort and breakfast!
Cons: I would love bacon at breakfast ;)
Location: Restaurants, shopping, and anything happening at the fairgrounds nearby
After a full day of playing nearby, it was great to have a comfortable, clean, cool room to return to! The choice of restaurants within walking distance was an added advantage!

Convenient location

The staff was very nice and friendly! The room was very clean. The hotel is between 2 freeways and therefore the noise in the room is very loud.
