We spend at least 50 nights a year in hotels and the presence and consistency of the cleaning staff was impressive. Very friendly and helpful staff!

The Worst Experience

Posted Jun 26, 2014
1. This supposed to be a non-smoking hotel. However, the room that I got was full of the smell of cigar. They changed a room for me but it smelled even worse and they said there was no other room. So I stayed in the old room. The front desk told me there is nothing they can do because some customers break the nonsmoking rule. Sounds like it is not the hotel's responsibility to make sure the next customer not staying in a room with smell of cigar. Of course I would not expect this from a cheap motel off the street, but I thought I paid to stay at a Hyatt. 2. After a tired day, I just wanted to have a good sleep. Besides that I had to smell cigar all night, I had to pay attention to my window all night--the window lock was broken. With the sound of police car siren passing the room occasionally, I did not feel safe all night. 3. The mattress was also horribly uncomfortable. It was clearly too old and hence extremely soft in a bad way--you can feel the strings under the surface. 4. The room was not very clean. Stains in bathroom tab in both the first room I stayed first night and the second room I stayed the next day. In general the rooms were clearly old. 5. The bathroom is extremely small. If you close the door, you will find the door is less than 0.5 inch away from the toilet. So stupid. 6. The fresh fruits provided in breakfast tasted completely non-fresh and bad. In sum, this is not what I expect from a Hyatt.

Not a Hyatt Experience

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: Train the staff
Location: Great location walking distance to several places to shop and eat
Entering the lobby I wasn't sure if I was to order a latte or book a room..no clear signage. Turns out the counter is used for both. The room was large and comfortable with a great layout, however the decor was a little dated. First morning I left room at 6AM and did not return until 7PM room hadn't been cleaned. Hotel house keeping had left for the day, however the front desk did send up additional towels and removed trash from the room. Room service isn't, after you order you have to go to lobby to pick up your order. Of the 3 night I stayed only could take advantage of breakfast 1 day. Not not bad meal, but if it were set up earlier more guests could take advantage of it. Checking out I was told that ever thing had been prepaid, I knew that wasn't the case as I had charge meals and movie to the room. Clerk then stumbled thru trying to get me a receipt for the additional charges Overall just a lack of professionalism that I feel wasn't up the the Hyatt reputation

Pros: Read the Above.....
Cons: Parking
Location: Like I said, It was in an area that was good for Me and my Son.
Me and my 12 year old had tickets to the Oakland A'S game on Saturday night for the Game reunion game with the Angeles. So we get there about 2:30 P.M. The young lady at the front desk said that our room was ready. Thank God, we can enjoy the swimming pool before the game. The Hotel was about a quarter mile from the Bart station. This is good because I do not like to drive in the city traffic. It also good that it has an Awesome Breakfast in the Morning. And to go back home, Hwy 580 is right there, Even I can't get lost.... LOL

Staff is not freindly at all

Posted Jun 2, 2014
I will never stay here againg . Staffs are not friendly , most of thier room has connecting door to another room . We got there late in the evening staffs were not welcoming they were moddy and grumpy and they put us in a room that had a door to another room , I told her that I am not comfortable here ,she replied , you should be ok you are going to be fine . She said most of our rooms has a connecting door to the other room . I could hear people other poeple in the next room very clearly and loudly . Licuia the front desck staff she is very grumpy and moddy she never says hi , hello, or a smile in fact I smiled and said hello to her once and she satired at me and did not reply . Internet is ok but breakfast is not good they will give you a sandwich that you can get it at macdonalds for$ 0.99 their parking is very small which get full early in the evening then if you asked them parking is full they will tell you to go park in the gas station or at the shopping mall. Never again !!

The best for the price

Best hotel I've been in that I've found for under a 100 a night. Pretty small bathrooms but it's not too bad. This always my go-to hotel. Also the complementary breakfast was one of the best I've had in a hotel.
