"Excellent customer service"
Arrived at the hotel to find I had been double booked by Expedia. Hotel was full!! Hotel Manager was excellent immediately contacted Expedia to try and resolve. Phone other hotels in the vicinity to see if the were any vacancies. No joy!! 200 miles from home!! The manager then started to phone all clients booked in to ensure they were still coming. By sheer luck some one had cancelled and there was now a vacancy so I was able to stay. Expedia were still looking to find alternative hotel not what you need when you arrive early evening after a hard day a work!!! The staff at the hotel were fantastic offer me drinks and a meal while they tried to sort out the problem which had not been caused by them! Thank you to the hotel manager for sorting out this issue with the utmost of proffesionalism and courtesy showing genuine concern for the predicament that I found my self in. Will definitely think twice about using Expedia do UK accommodation travelled many times with them abroad and never had any problems but this was the first time for UK accommodation.

"great attention to detail"
we arrived late so didn't meet the owners but were very impressed by the ease of accessing our keys and the welcome notes and texts that made us feel at home. our room was upgraded which was a nice unexpected surprise. everything was comfortable and clean and I really like small details like the sweets on the hall table and the books to borrow. we especially liked the emphasis on recycling and the provision of separate bins. It was a nice surprise to find a place that reflected our own values.

    Plymouth, Devon Hotel Guide

The principal town of the south west, Plymouth is famous for its maritime legacy. The Hoe, where Drake awaited the Armada, overlooks the magnificent harbour (Sound): home to naval dockyards and warships, accessible on sightseeing cruises. The bustling atmospheric Barbican district by the inner harbour, with its narrow streets of Tudor and Jacobean buildings, is where the Pilgrim Fathers sailed from. Visit the Elizabethan House and the Plymouth Gin Distillery, as well as the National Marine Aquarium - one of England’s finest.
