Almost a 1 star

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Pool temperature
Cons: Breakfast, room decor, hallway conditions, functioning door locks
I stayed here over the 4th weekend. The parking lot was mostly closed and we were put in what seemed like the oldest and most dilapidated part of the hotel. The exterior door (door C I beleive) had a non functional card reader which meant I parked at the door closest to my room and then had to walk to the next door and go around and open the door for the rest of my family. When I reported the issue to the front desk it was clear they were aware of it. As part of my detour I went through the ground floor of the building that I was staying in and it's possibly the smokiest hotel hallway I've been through. It's possible that this was because someone was just smoking in there but it smelled like old smoke to me. Our room was in poor condition. The wallpaper was peeling off all over the place some of it patched with what appeared to be rubber cement by a 5 year old. The tile floor looked dirty and all fixtures looked old and cheap with the exception of the showerhead. Breakfast was ok, the dining area was packed, tables were self bussed and unwiped. Eggs were very wet and unappealing in appearance, sausage ok, other breakfast items were typical enhanced continental. The best part of our stay here was the swimming pool which was kept very warm and that my kids loved. The slides in the pool area weren't the typical type but were fun. The hot tub was very foamy which makes me suspect it's not well kept or that someone had just put soap in it. This place was significantly overpriced f

Good for the money

Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: price.
Cons: Could use some updates. Too many doors to open for third floor access.
Location: The location is practically hidden from the road and not much within a walk. Not much at all.
$120 for the room as a weekly rate seemed decent for a rate. Facilities seemed dated, but nice. Older decor, toilets and such. I wasn't looking for a plush room, so it was a good value for the money.

Nice pool for kids 11 and under

Posted Jun 22, 2014
Hotel is older, but kept up well. Pool area was very nice, 2 medium size slides going into 4 ft deep pool. Shallow play pool also for the real little ones. Great hot breakfast with scrambled and hard boiled eggs, sausage links, hashbrowns and French toast. We will definitely be back!

Okay location, mediocre hotel.

Posted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: This hotel is located in a quiet area and has a very good restaurant connected right to it.
Cons: The cleaning of the rooms, fix the room doors to close on their own, fix the card scanners to the hotel entrance doors, keep up on the breakfast
Location: The location was quiet and away from the main flow of traffic, but it was also a little far away from attractions.
Upon arriving for our week long stay we entered our room and found a shirt that was left behind from the previous people that stayed there, a racquetball under the bed, and one of those little plastic "table" looking things that are usually found in a pizza box when getting delivery sitting on the window sill. The cleanliness of the room was simply horrible. The plaster was pulling away from around the air conditioning unit, there was a decorative nut missing from the light next to the bed (which I found on the floor and replaced), and the main thing that I didn't like was that the entrance door wouldn't close on its own. The door was the first thing I noticed and mentioned it to my wife so we would be sure to physically pull or push the door closed after using it to avoid inadvertently leaving the door open when we were either sleeping or away. One day the housekeeping staff didn't pull the door shut while we were away, and when we arrived back to our room around 11 p.m. we found that our door was ajar and must have been left that way all day! The breakfast was okay, but on two of the days that we were there there was next to nothing for food when we went to eat at 7:30 a.m. a room full of people with no meat one day, and 3 pieces of french toast on the other is not breakfast. It's a good thing there was a fast food restaurant close by. We also noticed that the card scanners to enter the building didn't work at two of the three doors that we regularly used.

Hotel is pretty run down.

Posted Jun 4, 2014
Pros: close to where my meeting was
Cons: needs an entire update in rooms, etc. old smelling hotel
Location: green mill pizza in hotel, very good.
Nothing special, for 100 dollars I had low expectations and the Hotel delivered!! I will not stay there again, smelled like an old smoking hotel, rooms need an update.

Bathroom/Breakfast

Posted May 12, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was some of the best we have had - generally speaking.
Cons: Not much. The building is built as such.
Location: Very satisfied with the location.
We found the bathroom facilities the smallest of any place we have stayed except aboard a small cruise ship. For the rest of the place, most of it was OK as we arrived later in the evening and had an early departure.

4 Star customer service

Posted May 8, 2014
Clean, comfortable rooms and great breakfast but it's the customer service that's outstanding. Eddie and Sai'd did everything to make our family gathering enjoyable. Had a great time. Kid friendly, pet friendly, nice rooms, awesome breakfast, easy parking what's not to love!

Clean and friendly staff

Posted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, little if any deferred maintenance issues, friendly staff, and a really great breakfast.
Cons: Nothing
Hotel was clean. Free breakfast was very well done. It was almost like eating breakfast at a restaurant. Overall I thought this hotel to be a very good value.
