I had a very pleasant stay here. I was offered an upgrade from a single room to double room with balcony. I especially enjoyed the jacuzzi of the bathtub! The room was very spacious and clean. After I checked in in the evening I had a hearty and tasty dinner in its lovely and comfortable restaurant whose menu is set at reasonable prices. Although it is not located in an old town centre, it is just a 15-minute walk from the hotel. Moreover it can be readily reached from the main railway station by tram. There is a convenience store selling stuff at a very reasonable price. By the way, it is just adjacent to a railway station (not tbe main one). If you want to reach this hotel by trian, make sure to check if your train would also stop at that station. In the down side, as my room is facing the main road and a railway station, it can be noisy at early morning. Also, the WiFi signal is rather week inside the room, but strong in the corridor. Overall it is well worth the money. Highly recommended. I would definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Plzeň next time.

Location for transit could not be better. Across the street from a train station and less than two blocks from key tram and bus stops. Breakfast buffet is so good and had great options for everyone. Stayed there eleven days so I ate a lot of good breakfasts. The staff especially the cleaning staff was so friendly and thorough. The bed was a bit Spartan but my single room was very comfortable. This is my new favorite in Plzeň.

Great bargain. Room was clean and roomy. Bathroom very good with plenty of shelves. Breakfast was great. A bit stuffy but fan in room helped a lot. We were on street side but noticed little noise. Short walk to old town area and main bus station. I would stay again with no hesitation.

Nice choice.
Great stay in this nicely kept old property. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we were given a nice breakfast pack because we departed early, thanks! Handy for one of the railway stations (Jižní předměstí) but about a 10-12 min walk into town.

Hotel Victoria review for Oct/2021
Hotel was good location and an excellent buffet breakfast. Check-in was easy and both off-site parking areas are close to hotel. Only downside is they do not have black-out curtains on the room window. Room was very clean and had daily maid service.

I called hotel at midnight and ask if they still have my reservation? They replied they hold reservations until 11pm, that's why I stead at hotel Slovan in Plzen which was about 1km from hotel Slovan, Then I got charge for the hotel Victoria any way. Nice way you do and hotel Victoria business.

Solid hotel
I was traveling with a group and all together we had 5 rooms. Of those, people in 4 of the rooms were quite pleased. There were a few odd things, however. Reaching the rooms far from the elevator or stairs required going down long, dark, twisty corridors and the lights didn't always work, so there was some fumbling in the dark. Plus the rooms didn't have a lock or dead bolt on the inside, which was a bit unnerving. The bed was uncomfortable in the standard European hard mattress way, as well. But otherwise, it was a good hotel. The staff was friendly, the breakfast buffet was tasty, and the location was convenient.

This is a pretty good hotel. The staff was helpful, the breakfast buffet was tasty, and the rooms were nice. But the hallways were a little weird as the lights wouldn't always go on as you walked through long, twisty dark corridors and there was no deadbolt (or internal lock) in the room. I presume it was still locked from the outside, but I didn't love not being able to lock my room from the inside when I was in it. Also the beds were uncomfortable in the standard hard European way (so if you like hard beds, you're all set).

This hotel was great. The parking was convenient (and included!) Breakfast was small, but it was included which was awesome. It's not a fancy hotel by any means, but it was certainly worth the stay. Also, Daniel (I think was his name?) was working the front desk overnight, and he was so helpful.

Although the hotel was old and somewhat outdated, it was clean. The reception staff was great and spoke very good English. Decent breakfast of hot and cold items was included. About a 10+ minute walk to town square which was nice. We were not overly impressed with the surrounding town itself...somewhat dirty. The gated parking lot was much appreciated. It was ok for a one night stay while passing through.

As advertised. Clean, quiet, safe and comfortable. Only hotel out of three that had parking as promised. When Traveling in Europe by car, parking is extremely important. Be careful that your hotel does not pull a bait and switch.

Nice, basic hotel in a good location
Nice hotel with everything you need. We even had a refrigerator and a safe in the room. Staff is very friendly and the food in the restaurant was great, and the breakfast was very good, too. Only complaint was the hard and thin mattresses, and the hallways/room needs an update (they are working on it right now). The bathrooms have been already updated, they are nice. The location is great, too!

A nice hotel
Very close to my daughters 1 bedroom apartment, where she is staying and beginning as a student. It is a very old building but the beds are very comfortable and breakfast is very good. It is a very good deal for Munich.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, train station " just in front of " the hotel which simplified travelling around the country. Nice Czech restaurant in the hotel and excellent hot chocolate is served even at 9 pm on a cold summer day. I enjoyed staying in their little garden after breakfast - it is designated smoking area but there were not many smokers on the mornings.

15 minutes mins walk from main square
The hotel was as I expected. For price paid. Fortunately it was about a 15 mins walk to main square. However the most disappointing thing apart from one flat pillow! Is breakfast! 7-10am. At 8am I asked about cornflakes. As bowl was empty. Also the fruit bowl was empty! (I noticed the German couple on next table had emptied it) There was a toaster but no bread to toast. Basket empty! I pointed and asked the waitress but she just shrugged her shoulders. We only wanted the continental breakfast. But apart from yogurts,ham,cheese and condements. There was nothing for me! We guessed it would be the same the next day. So I went to reception. Asked if we should go at 7am? If we wanted to get the items above. However she did not know! Hot breakfast consisted of fish fingers, sausages and extremely hard fried eggs? There was nothing for us.

Hotel Victoria review
Drove from Brussels and I wanted to see local brewery. The town is a small taste of Czech. It is not a tourist spot. For me that was great. Wanted the true taste of the Czech people and culture. Everyone was great. The hotel restraint was very good.

Budget hotel with great value for money
The room was just a bland hotel room, but I paid a very low price and the value for money was really good. If you want a cheap room in a convenient location, go for it! And the cleanliness was much better than recently at a major hotel chain linked to Liz Taylor by marriage

Room smelled like sewage.
The building is old, the room we had would have been okay, but it smelled like sewage. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, except one who was unable to provide us with a fork when we got takeout that had forgotten to give us one. We noticed later that the same woman had access to the breakfast room, so there was no reason she could not get us one. The location was the best thing about this hotel, a short walk to most of the tourist attractions. Breakfast was decent.

The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the Republic Square, which is the focal point of this town. The people general and the staff of the hotelmin particular are extremely friendly and helpful. I loved my time there.

The hotel was very nice on the inside, great food at the restaurant and the massage was nice too. All for a very good price. The bed, however, felt like I was sleeping on the floor. I didn't really leave the hotel after I arrived because I didn't feel comfortable in the neighborhood walking around alone.
