A real disappointment.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: DEverything
It took 20 minutes to check in due to the hotels antiquated computer, wifi was completely unreliable, the room had an infestation of ants. The place is in real need od a refit.

This was a great place for our overnight needs. The dogs were welcomed. There were several dining options nearby. Red Lion had one of the best breakfast service we've ever enjoyed.

Barking dog next door; computers down at fr desk

Pros: Close to freeway
Cons: Friendliness of staff - computers up & running - not being put next door to a barking dog.
When we checked in, the computers were down so photocopies were made of my id & credit card - NOT COOL!! Very uncomfortable! Also, there was a barking dog next door and when my husband talked to the guest about it, he was drunk & beligerent! Bed was WAY too soft. Room was okay clean - wasn't spotless.

I am sorry about the computers being down, the issue actually involved multiple properties, but it was fixed. We wanted to get every person check in with no issues and I assure you that all the information was handles correctly and also was properly disposed of. This is a common practice when there are server issues at any hotel to insure that is there is no gap in service. I am also sorry about the other guest that was staying at the hotel and I hope that front desk was contacted to resolve the issue for you, thank you.

Pros: Nice pool. Night was quiet. Rooms had plenty of room in it.
Cons: Closet mirror needs to be washed. TV need to be updated.
Location: We went to Red Lobster and to FT Hall casino, we also watched the NCAA basketball tourney.
We went to dinner came back and our keyS would not work on the outside doors or our room! When we were leaving some mans key wouldn't work! The clerk didn't apologize until I said I wasn't happy about this. It caused a lot of extra walking and my health isn't great! The clerk said it must of demagnetized where ever we had it! Well my fried had it in her purse in a wallet I had mine in a pocket in my jacket with nothing in it! They screwed up and tried to blame us instead of saying oh I sorry at the beginning!

I am sorry that we messed up your keys, I do not quite understand exactly how we managed to do that perhaps if they were not demagnetized they must have been faulty. I am also sorry about the extra walking this situation caused, we want our guests to be relaxed and comfortable. However we will look into the issue and hopefully it will not happen again.

Needs updating

The staff was pleasant enough and the beds were comfortable. When we opened the cabinet, we saw that the television hadn't been updated for too many years and there was a large hole where a refrigerator had once been. Pocatello is a lovely city but I can't imagine that most of the guests wouldn't appreciate getting the food out of the ice chest on their cross country trip. A fridge was delivered to the room promptly, but it was still dirty. We arrived late at night and we were focused on getting some sleep. In the morning I discovered that the cleaning staff neglected to vacuum the chair in the room and there were crumbs and Cherrios left on it from the previous guests. The front desk was apologetic about the cleanliness of the room. Unfortunately, we prepaid and they were unable to discount the room for us. This is a hotel in need of updating and TLC.

I was traveling alone and felt the staff had my best interest at hand. The breakfast was wonderful.

Lights did not work, and gave you a very old feel
