We were pleased when we arrived at the hotel. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. My children loved the indoorpool. Would recommend to friends.

Room was cleaned ok but..

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: Convenience to the area, breakfast.
Cons: Refer back to "experience"
Location: Tourist area, skiing, shopping, dining, etc..
We always check the room out before saying we are staying. We check cleanliness, check out the bathroom, etc.. We found the room to be okay. Soon after we were there awhile we noticed a used towel slightly coming out from behind the dresser/TV unit. We were shocked that there was no "grab bar" in the bathroom. Disappointed that for a king bed, the pillows were actually "throw pillows" with regular cases on them, very uniquely tucked in the right positions? Then I went to use the pad and pen that is complimentary, the pad was very obviously had been wet, shriveled up. Breakfast was nice, eggs were a surprise for a continental breakfast. The attendant was very attentive with re-stocking of items on the buffet. The buffet was sort of a mess, but I guess no one can predict the public. The one thing that could have been corrected was the tables being cleaned when guests left. I had to get hot water and clean our table before I would sit. Perhaps a few wipes could be offered in the room to wash the remote down, and door knobs? I know a stock cannot be left due to theft, just an idea.... Thanks, Joanne Bourque

Breakfast is a joke

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: The location was convenient for my purposes.
Location: Close to Shawnee Mountain resort
This hotel is a step above a flea bag motel. The person at the desk was very pleasant at check in. What I did not like was that they have a policy of taking a photocopy of your license and credit card when you check in. This was odd and I have never experienced that before. The room was only OK. The shower was a little sketchy. The entire place is dated. Although they advertise breakfast is included with your stay breakfast consisted of oatmeal, dry cereal, various breads and a toaster and coffee/tea/juice.....really? Keep it! The person at check out was also pleasant. I asked for the copy of my license and credit card back and she had trouble finding it. I persisted and waited it out and got it back. This practice made me very nervous.

The hotel was clean and the staff was pleasant. It is also centrally located near route 80 and several restaurants.

Horrible pool

Posted Feb 18, 2015 on Hotels.com
This should not be listed as an I door pool in the winter or cooler months! Pool was not useable by the kids... Gaps and frozen ice inside pool area ! Very poor condition of grounds . Breakfast was a joke... Dry cereal and toast. Don't stay here with kids!

Cheap hotel close to Shawnee

Kinda run down property. Not real clean bathrooms but for the price, what do you expect. Free breakfast gives you the option of toast, powdered eggs, raisin bran or fruit loops. That's it.

Near Camelback

Web page doesn't tell you that the hotel doesn't have interior hallways, it is not an enclose facility. This hotel should be open only in the summer time. Pool was unsafe, you couldn't see who was in the water, with the fog/steam in the pool area. Go to have breakfast somewhere else. I booked here by mistake and only because of the pool. Unless there is not other accommodations in the area, our usual place was fully booked. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Weekend getaway.

Rooms were ok condition. Front desk was not very professional. When we got there, the receipent was smoking by the front entrance and took a long time getting our rooms ready. She was nice enough to let us check in at 1pm instead of 3pm. Check was rushed. Did not allow even 1/2 hour over 11 am without a charge.
