Location: There are many things to do in the Poconos.
We stayed the night after the race. The room and hotel were clean and quiet.

It was very satisfactory. The reception desk manager was very warm and helpful. Everything was great. Maybe there can be an upgrade for a fridge in each room even if a charge is required. Overall my stay was wonderful.

It was just what we needed, a place to stay while attending a family event. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was better than average. The noise from adjacent rooms was a bit louder than desired, but overall, it was a pleasant stay.

The hotel staff, no matter what title, was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast eating area was a little small so I had to wait for a while to get food and then take it back to my room since there were no seats. The other difficulty was that the hotel does not have an actual address, so using GPS to find the hotel was challenging. Overall, the hotel itself, including the staff, was wonderful. I can't say enough about all that work there.

Good stay in the PoconosPosted Jul 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very good facilities. The staff was very courteous, (good customer service seems to be going the way of the dinosaur these days.) nice clean room, standard facilities, (office, fitness center, pool) and continental breakfast. The price for the room was a lot higher than I expected due to the 4th of July weekend coupled with the race, but I did get my money's worth.

Broken Shower Did Not Get Fixed My Entire StayPosted Jul 5, 2013
Pros: Pool was good. Breakfast was nice. Friendly staff.
Cons: I would definitely CONSIDER coming back here. However, the broken shower, large fee to send back my hoody were a little bit upsetting.
Location: Whitewater rafting and the water park, were my favorite things to do. Water park was a little small.
It was pretty upsetting that the shower was not fixed throughout my 4 day stay. After whitewater rafting, boating through caves, going on animal safaris, water parks, and treetop adventure courses, I was left sweaty and sticky. All my group wanted to do was go home and shower. However, the drain was completely broken and everybody was soaking in the previous persons filth. I asked the staff to fix it several times, but it never got done which was disappointing. Especially because they were overall very friendly, welcoming, and kind. The front desk ladies always had a smile on their face which was nice. Another issue that I had was the large fee to send back an item I forgot in the room. I left my favorite lightweight hoody from my idol Kevin Durant in the closet, due to the fact that the closet is kind of hidden behind a mirror. Other hotels such as the Hampton Inn have sent me back forgotten items free of charge. However, the front desk said that they only do Fed Ex Express, and they would have to charge me 45+ dollars to send the hoody back. It is my favorite hoody because of its sentimental value, but that large fee to send it back really hurts, especially other hotels have not charged me in the past. Overall, this was a good hotel. The staff was friendly. The free breakfast was good, except for the fact that the pancake machine was broken for the 1st 3 days of my stay. I was getting a little tired of sausages after 3 days. The gym was great but small. Pool was great
