Had an ok time.

Make sure you pay for all inclusive you will save alot of money. We paid just room only and if you wanted dinner there it was $68 and for breakfast it was $38 for both of us and the food was not very good at all. My wife is a vegetarian and only had 2 or 3 options on the menu. Non of witch she liked. And breakfast wasnt much better. The "lake" wasnt much of a lake at all. The mini golf could use a coat of paint. The outdoor pool was very small. The night club was very nice and the entertainment was good. But all in all the whole place was alittle out dated.

Lovely romantic getaway

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff Price for what you get Relaxing Very romantic Clean
Cons: Better directions or correct address on other websites for GPS'. Pool water a little warmer. Room service available later.
Location: Beautiful setting. Skiing, etc if you like that sort of thing.
I booked this for my husband and me, for our 30th anniversary. It did rain most of our stay but we were planning on styaying in our room most of the time anyway. That being said, I can't really speak much for the grounds or other facilities other than that they looked clean, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful. One of them took pictures of us in front of the "Land of Love" sign with our camera. The front desk clerk helped us with directions. Helpful tip: make sure you use Cresco as your city for your GPS or you might be confused, like we were. The room was clean. We loved all of the amenities, comfy bed, jacuzzi tub and I loved the star lights in the ceiling. The pool water could have been a little warmer but we didn't ask about turning it up. There is a WalMart nearby to buy your dura flame logs, candles, bubble bath, massage oil, drinks and snacks if you so choose. $4 for a three hr dura flame log vs $7 for a two hr one at the gift shop. Just saying. All in all, we absolutely loved it. We hope to go back again in the near future even though it was a 9 hr drive for us due to construction. I'd still go back tomorrow if we could. It was so romantic and relaxing.

Not what we expected.

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Cleanliness.
Pool had stuff floating in it, shower didn't drain, found 2 dead bugs. Left first thing in morning. Couldn't wait to get home and shower.

Interesting and spacious room with a private pool!

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: The concept of a champagne-glass Jacuzzi in the room seems cheesy, but in actuality it is a lot of fun, and quite classy. The staff is very friendly.
Cons: The first room we were given was a smoking room, and one of the ceiling tiles lay broken by the pool. The staff needs to check the rooms better.
Location: We did not avail ourselves of many attractions nearby. The room/entertainment kept us busy. But the Crossings Outlet Mall is just a few miles away.
Our room was spacious, and like a split-level townhouse, with a 2-story champagne-glass Jacuzzi as a centerpiece. The room also had a heart-shaped private heated pool, which was a pleasant surprise. It also had a massage table and a private sauna. The upstairs had a huge bathroom (which led to the champagne-glass Jacuzzi), and a spacious Master Bedroom with a round bed and mirrored ceiling. One wall of the Master Bedroom was glass, which overlooked the private pool one floor below. The dining experience was good, and the staff was excellent. We also went to the (included) nightclub at night, where an excellent NY band played music, and a very talented stand-up comedian entertained us. The room was not cheap, but I feel we got our money's worth and more. Note: This hotel is perfect for couples, but not appropriate for a family.

Exceedingly overpriced, but we still had fun.

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Most of the staff was extremely friendly, although the bar (table) staff was spotty.
Cons: Despite being large, the resort was poorly laid out, as it seemed you had to walk through a parking lot to get anywhere.
Location: Mount Airy Casino
After a few military deployments and having eyeballed the resorts website for an exciting getaway upon my return, I finally decided to take the leap and book a room. We arrived early and the friendly hotel staff called us to let us know that the room was ready as we walked around the nearby casino. Our Garden of Eden Apple room was very similar to the available pictures -- minus the "romantic add-ons", such as the candles, rose petals, champagne, etc. and not quite as well-kept. While I was not necessarily surprised that these things weren't included, I was disappointed that at an "all-inclusive resort" I continuously felt nickle-and-dimed. (A few tea light candles purchased in bulk would cost the hotel pennies, so it would seem that they should throw in a few things to increase the perception that I'm getting my monies worth.) Every where you turned: photos, alcohol (not even a free Bud), Bingo, candles and lobster add-ons were all extra and heavily promoted. The common areas were decent, however extremely dead (on a Saturday night in June). It was nice not having to wait before doing activities, but the lack of people made us feel like we were traveling on an old cruise ship past it's prime. For what they charge, more emphasis should placed on the finer details i.e. turn on the lights to a romantic level before guests arrive. It was nice going to check it off the bucket list, but we likely will not be returning unless we find a great deal!

10th year vow renewal/2nd Honeymoon

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: The activites & the grounds
Cons: Room didn't have a microwave....
Location: Shopping outlets and romantic tours....
Had an amazing time with my husband at the Paradise Stream Resort. Stayed in the Garden of Eden Apple suit and it was beautiful. Very cozy and romantic. The grounds were beautiful and the activities were awesome. We fell in love all over again:) My only issue was our room didn't have a microwave.
