Adam & Eve

Posted Jul 26, 2014
The wife and I wanted a clean, comfortable and affordable private resort for our first anniversary. The resort provided all of that along with excellent customer service. Hector he is called; one of the managers. He provided a service that made us feel really special. There is an abundance of activities to do at the resort and the neighborhood. We can't wait to return there!

A fun and romantic honeymoon-themed couples resort

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: No children! It's nice to take a break from kids for a while. There is a strong emphasis on fun and romance. In room fridge. Wifi. DVD player.
Cons: Add a small microwave oven. Better maintenance: a light was out in the pool in our room, was not repaired. jacuzzi should fill faster.
Location: There is a great brew pub and restaurant in Tannersville called Barley Creek. Delaware water gap with activities.
The Pocono Palace is one of three resorts in the Poconos belonging to the same group. They're adults-only honeymoon-themed resorts with plenty of activities. For us, it's always a great way to cap off a week's vacation but we might consider a week here in its own right. Sometimes, you just want that kind of kitsch - the champagne glass jacuzzi, the heart-shaped swimming pool, round bed.... it's just the right setting for romance. There is a choice of room type and many specials and packages available. For us, the attraction is the champagne towers or roman towers for the heart shaped swimming pool. However, there are so many activities on the grounds that the room itself might just be the icing on the cake. There is live entertainment, fun games in the lounge and even a private lake with pedalboats, waterskiing and more. Come here to have a good time and bring your sense of fun with you. Breakfast and dinner are included in the price we paid and the food is really good and well worth it. There are some nice modern retrofits to the rooms - in-room DVD players and flat screen TVs. There is free wifi on site. There is a mini fridge in the room, so cold things can stay cold. Our room had a fireplace which burns the synthetic duralogs. We were lucky on our weekend that on the entrace part of the property, there was a classic car show the afternoon we arrived. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely return.

It's the most romantic getaway in its area, nothing compares. We stayed in the champagne tower I would highly recommend it!

Cons: Bar prices way too high
Stayed here many times before. Drinks are really expensive at the bar, I would BYOB.

rooms at Pocono Palace

Posted Jul 15, 2014
The rooms are looking very dated ( 1970's) they need modernizing and refreshed . room service is not up to par, food was cold ( kitchen was only one minute away from the room ). delivery staff was rude. over all the place could have been better but I still enjoyed the over night stay, must have been the company I was with that helped.

Fantasy Apple All Inclusive

Posted Jul 14, 2014
We stayed in the Fantasy Apple suite for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We had a really great time! Our room was perfect, clean, private and quiet. You won't want to leave! There is lots to do and it's just beautiful relaxing scenery. You can go early and enjoy the resort before your room is ready. A few things to note "all inclusive" does not include lunch. Alcoholic Beverages were quite expensive (which is also not included) Dinner was a bit light however it was really good. It is all what you make of your romantic getaway. Ours was everything we had hoped for and what a wonderful way to celebrate our 10th year!

Fantastic honeymoon

Posted Jul 4, 2014
When we first checked in we had booked the club room, unless you're looking for a standard hotel experience do not book this room! We upgraded to the fantasy apple room and it was well worth it. The activities are fun, food is fantastic and most of all the staff is incredible.

Nice room over looking lake

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: Plenty of activities to include huge game room, small weight room, steam and sauna, indoor, outdoor pools and whirlpool, biking, walking...
Cons: Bathroom door bottom was peeling from moisture
Location: All inclusive....hot tub in room was a blast....near Shawnee lots to do!
Nice facility, opted for the expedia rates which excluded breakfast and dinners....lots of surrounding restaurants within 10 minutes drive. The place also has a grill on site named spooners which serves food and is good for the prices. Nice time, plenty to do...outdoor pool with whirlpool is great....bike riding was fun! Will return! Nice getaway for couples

Posted Jun 20, 2014
My husband and I we had great time at the resort, there are a lot of things to do together. You can enjoy a beautiful lake on its territory, pools, play golf etc. the only thing I would improve its those round beds which I consider not comfortable to sleep on.
