Very nice place.

Pros: Many activities. Good food. Friendly staff. Clean room.
Cons: The only thing disappointing about the hotel was they got my reservation wrong. I reserved all-inclusive and they said i was room only. Expedia fixed.
Location: Very good.
Slight problem with reservation. Hector of the hotel staff was very helpful though.

Very nice relaxing getaway

Posted Aug 21, 2014
It was awesome, I would just recommend they used a different laundry detergent the towels were clean but had a weird smell. Also the pool in the suite needs a better ladder, there wasn't enough steps which caused difficulty getting out as the first step was very high up. They should maybe etch an additional step into the wall of the pool or just replace the ladders. It would definitely make it easier to get in and out. But besides that it was an amazing experience and I will recommend it to all my friends. There was a lot of great fun things to do and I will definitely go back.

Location: Bushkill falls is 3 to 4 miles north on 209 and the Marshalls creek flea market is just south.
Champagne room was very nice, but it could use a little updating inside and out. Watch out for the skunks if you walk around at night.

Hotel and amenities

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Pool, exercise area, grounds, gym, small lake, golf range and the upkeep of the entire property. Less than 6 hours from Ontario.
Cons: Entertainment on the off nites early in the week. Reduce the games during the music.
Location: Shopping is good & the area is very scenic. Roads are very good as well - no delays.
The hotel, grounds and amenities are in good condition. The pool was in good condition. Exercise area was excellent. We chose to eat off site as there many choices in the area (1-3 miles). The golf course was worn and only for hackers. The entertainment was excellent on Sat & Sun and band was OK Wed. The process is to interrupt the music for games on certain evenings. The night club atmosphere was excellent. All activities were free as is golf if you have your own clubs. Certain games for entertainment take place in the lounge and are fun. The outlying area is easy to connect to and shopping for Canadians is excellent (KOHL's was outstanding). We do plan to return as the drive from Ontario is glitch free with light traffic.

Nice Place For A Romantic Getaway

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: No kids allowed. The room was romantic and very large. For the price we paid, It was a really good deal. There were lots of cool things to do.
Cons: Rooms need remodeling. They're clean, but old school. Rooms also need better TV's and high definition cable.
Location: Golf, archery, pool, swimming, water skiing, row boating, fishing, jacuzzi, in the resort! Outside the resort we shot handguns and went to a museum.
My girlfriend and I originally booked 3 nights. It was so nice we stayed one additonal night. Facilities were nice, staff was friendly. We didn't eat in the resort, because there were many good restaurants nearby. I can't wait to go back.

The wife and I wanted a clean, comfortable and affordable private resort for our first anniversary. The resort provided all of that along with excellent customer service. Hector he is called; one of the managers. He provided a service that made us feel really special. There is an abundance of activities to do at the resort and the neighborhood. We can't wait to return there!

A fun and romantic honeymoon-themed couples resort

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: No children! It's nice to take a break from kids for a while. There is a strong emphasis on fun and romance. In room fridge. Wifi. DVD player.
Cons: Add a small microwave oven. Better maintenance: a light was out in the pool in our room, was not repaired. jacuzzi should fill faster.
Location: There is a great brew pub and restaurant in Tannersville called Barley Creek. Delaware water gap with activities.
The Pocono Palace is one of three resorts in the Poconos belonging to the same group. They're adults-only honeymoon-themed resorts with plenty of activities. For us, it's always a great way to cap off a week's vacation but we might consider a week here in its own right. Sometimes, you just want that kind of kitsch - the champagne glass jacuzzi, the heart-shaped swimming pool, round bed.... it's just the right setting for romance. There is a choice of room type and many specials and packages available. For us, the attraction is the champagne towers or roman towers for the heart shaped swimming pool. However, there are so many activities on the grounds that the room itself might just be the icing on the cake. There is live entertainment, fun games in the lounge and even a private lake with pedalboats, waterskiing and more. Come here to have a good time and bring your sense of fun with you. Breakfast and dinner are included in the price we paid and the food is really good and well worth it. There are some nice modern retrofits to the rooms - in-room DVD players and flat screen TVs. There is free wifi on site. There is a mini fridge in the room, so cold things can stay cold. Our room had a fireplace which burns the synthetic duralogs. We were lucky on our weekend that on the entrace part of the property, there was a classic car show the afternoon we arrived. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely return.
