When I get there for Check - In the room was almost 2 hours late. Kind of messed up our plans for the day. After I got to my room, I get ready for the pool and it was almost time for the pool bar to close. Rooms look way better in the online pictures.

HANDS DOWN WORK EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: Update your facility.
My wife and I were looking forward to getting away for our anniversary for quite some time. Upon our arrival we had a little difficulty finding our room, the only indoor access to the room was through a bar and lounge area and up a small set of stairs. After entering the room my wife encountered several spiders which had to be killed, I killed several more afterwards. We decided to check out the beach which was advertised to be on a lake, in reality is more like a large pond. The beach itself was small and mucky. We wanted to try out the paddle boats did not steer properly and we're filthy so we switched to the rowboats which were not much better. After leaving the beach we went back to our room, it was then we noticed all of the ants on the table in the room and throughout my wife's clothing that were placed there. We informed the hotel and they had the room sprayed while we were at dinner. When we retired for the night it was difficult to sleep because of a very loud party that was taking place downstairs. I the morning the ants were back, but the worst of it all was when we were showering the water would not stay hot and turned very brown to point of staining the washcloth I was using and the towel I used to dry off with. We were so upset we decided to go home, before we left we stopped at the front desk to voice our discontent, witch was met with nothing more than just a sorry from the desk attendant. My skin was still stained from the brown water the following day.

Nice setting, staff great but the room was filthy.

The hotel WS nice, staff was great BT the room was filthy....had mold on the glass panels directly overlooking the pool below, the heart shaped tub was dirty n the overall room was un kept..The balcony hasn't been swept free of cobwebs n debri in weeks....

Pocono Problem

The 3rd day housekeeping never came. When the desk was called for towels they informed us they were waiting for a shipment of towels. They told us they should be in at 7 PM. At 8:15 PM we left room without then they had been delivered by 10 PM when we returned. Trash was never taken out. Activities were super.

Did Not Meet Expectations!

Cons: Hotel ambience, resort activities.
We were unaware that the rooms were not attached to the main building. Upon arrival to our room, the overall ambience was "less than average" and certainly "did not meet expectations." Though the room was clean, there were several things that appeared to be outdated, or in need of replacement. The activities at the resort were limited, which left us 'bored' for most of our stay. The food, however, was great, especially the breakfast-buffet. Moving forward, we would choose another option for a weekend getaway.....

Dirty rooms terrible food

The toilet was overflowing when we arrived. We had a pool in our room that the heater was broken. After 4 calls still no pool heat. Each call took front desk at least 20 rings to answer. Was switched to a different room next morning no upgrade very inconvenient
