Tourism in this area is kind of dead, and the big chain hotel industry knows this. The only affordable hotels in the area are of this quality or worse. The staff was friendly, and they claimed that the property was under renovation. In terms of the hotel scenery it is definitely under construction and a little old. But the lights and the scenery around the pool area do give it a kind of unique feel. I'm a neat freak, so everywhere I go I bring cleaning supplies to wipe off surfaces. If you have no issue with doing this on your stay then the cleanliness of the hotel should not be a problem for you. For my entire stay there however I did not see anyone cleaning any room. But upon my arrival I had clean bed sheets and towels. My hotel room was never cleaned during my stay. This however again is not really a problem for me because I do not mind using the same towels and sleeping in the same sheets for 2 to 3 days. The hotel is built around a pool so you can hear everything happening around you. They play music up until around 11:00 at night because that is when the pool closes. But all in all you get what you pay for. At least the rooms are somewhat clean when you arrive and you don't have to pay a $1,000 just to sleep in a bed. So if you are planing to stay in the hotel my suggestions to you are bring some Clorox wipes, Lysol spray, some form of house slippers, and headphones or ear plugs if you have issues sleeping with noise around you. There are worse hotels in the area.

Slow check in. Lack of energy among staff. Told that I had a long walk through the lobby and the swimming pool and past other rooms to get to my room. That the doors near my room were sealed shut. That wasn’t true. Unable to get a good temperature in my room. The lobby is unheated so you can’t hang out in there.

Roaches.. there was a roach . I screamed. It was as we were leaving. They shouldn’t be open while doing major renovations and repairs. I stayed here many years ago . It wasn’t like this

My wife and I have been going to this hotel twice a year for the last 6 years. Every time we go there there’s always something wrong. One year it was the pool another was no heat. We have gone through at least 2 owners and each one is worse than the other. This time was the worst the first room the toilet seat was broken. We went to let someone know and no one was at the desk. We finally got another room and the key wouldn’t work. Every time we left and came back it was the same thing. We had to the front desk to get a new key. No one at the front desk. We kept going back each year because they claimed they were renovating but it never changed from year to year. The bar was never open. We will not stay there anymore. We will find someplace else to stay.

Upon my stay, I experienced a live Roach infestation, dead Roaches in the bathroom sink, disgusting towels with hairs all over them, and just a generally run-down, dirty feeling property. I would not recommend staying here to anyone, and I would never stay again myself.

I didn’t stay here. When I parked it looked like it was closed. Nobody came to the front desk. The whole place looked like it was under construction. I was still charged for the one night. I never saw such a mess and with my asthma I could not chance an attack, so after waiting 10 minutes or so, I left

It was sad. I selected the hotel based on the reviews...but they dud not accurately reflect the conditions. I really don't like to hurt anyone's business..especially in these challenging financial times but i cannot recommend anyone stay here. The only reason I didn’t leave was because the only option waa staying in my car. I stayed because it was all I could afford. Management should really shut it down and make improvements. The worst hotel ever stayed at in my life.

The lobby smelt like weed, the rest of the hotel including my room smelt like cigarettes. The jacuzzi had hair in it. The bed had long white hair and stains on it. There was a bug crawling throughout the room. The bathroom was also not in the best condition. We stayed for about 10 mins and then decided to leave and go home. Also seemed like we were the only ones staying there for a very big place. Overall not a comfortable situation.

Property is old and dirty. Long term renters in the back rooms were sketchy. Bar clientele was a little questionable. I was told that it is under new ownership and renovations were definitely underway (safety was not a concern with pool empty and no safety barriers). Looks like it was a nice Pocono motel at one time, but not in a long time. If the new owners can turn it around it could be a nice place.

The pool was under renovation and the restaurant also. The hallways had an awful smell to it. The place looked abandoned the rooms we was in was terrible ceiling had spots on also the walls. Toilet seat was broke the safe was broke no iron the blow dryer wasn’t attached to the wall it was on the shelf not working. No ironing board couldn’t iron my clothes. We made the best of it.

None of the pictures matched the hotel. It's heavily under construction. Water poured from the hallway ceiling, and I had to walk through it to get out of the hotel soaking my dress clothes on the way to work. Should be condemned.

This place should not be allowed to operate in this condition. Smells and looks disgusting, construction zone inside in all areas (yes it’s visible from everywhere ), no amenities operational, no words to describe how bad it is. We booked to overnight on a long trip. Pictures looked nice and it was cheaper than other hotels (not by much not to look suspicious), close to the highway so we thought it would be fine for a night. No, it’s not! They offer only non refundable pay before you arrived because nobody will ever stay past entrance
