“Stay only if necessary.”

The hotel is okay if you are just looking for a place to sleep for a night. The continental breakfast they offered was totally lacking, i.e. no hot water, cups. We passed the breakfast area about a half hour afterwards and there was even less if that is possible. There was no coffee/hot water, cups or anything else. I would only stay here again if I was attending a race because of its close proximity to the track.

“Don't stay here!”

This hotel was dreadful, dirty, and nothing worked(Ice machines, vending machines, elevator, etc.) They had almost no staff working. They had one person working the bar and waiting tables in the restauant. They even had kids working the front desk. The pool was disgusting! I'll never go there again!

“disappointing”

First thing one of the reason we choose this hotel was because of the pool and we actually last minute paid for an extra night so the kids to enjoy the pool all day saturday only to find out saturday morning that the pool was closed and then they were tolded they couldnt play outside. the second disappointing thing was my sister and i booked the same type of room and she had a fridge in hers and i did not and was could have used it because i have a baby

“Disappointed.”

I expected more. Everything was closed no pool, no spa. Its very secluded. You NEED a car to get around. The Phone in my room didnt work. The young receptionist was rude. She didnt address our complaints.

“Great location to skiiing, but needs some cleaning”

The front desk staff was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. We didn't call the front desk about our problems so that is our fault. They probably would have given us a different room, but we just were too tired and weren't sure if the other rooms would be the same. The room was not very clean. We had no soap - at all. I keep soap in my travel bag so we were okay there. We had very little toilet paper and ran out during the first few hours. Trash can had some sticky liquid all down the side of it. The remote for the TV didn't work. The sheet on the bed wouldn't stay on and underneath was a big dried blood stain on the mattress. We just took all the covers and layed on top of them fully dressed so we didn't touch anything. It's a shame because the location is good. We just would not stay here again because it wasn't clean. On a bright note, we did have great heat and lots of hot water!

“Don't Do It - This place is horrible.”

The most disgusting hotel I have ever walked into. Urine and hair all over the bathroom, bedbugs, wall paper peeling off the walls, garbage everywhere. Just avoid this place...don't go anywhere near it.

“Never again”

The hotel looks as though it is going out of business. There are no amenities open. Their excuse was hurricane Sandy but the other hotels on the same block had no problems. Not sure why they are open. Looks like Big financial difficulties at this Ramada.

“Ramada, Poconos, PA”

The front desk staff really tried to make our stay acceptable, good job by them. Housekeeping staff never showed up or responded. Fridge was missing key, couldn't be used, staff couldn't locate another key. Requested smoking room - no ashtrays. Housekeeping (or lack of) was terrible!!! The facility is very very tired and needs lots of work. Elevators were down most of the time, spare furniture stored in hallways, restaurant was closed, hardly any TV channels, no regular coffee in room just decaf. I would never stay there again.

“Never again, sorry!”

The hotel clearly is still suffering the devastation from Hurricane Sandy 2012. The walkway to the room was wavy and uneven, inside. The room had the same musty smell as the walkway to the room between the lounge and pool areas that were not open! The bathroom shower had pubic hair in the drain and all about the bathroom floor. There were no extra toilet tissue in the bathroom and we had to ask for it. The pillowcases had hair on them as well and appeared to have been turned inside out after use. The heat unit was loud and clunky. The rear entrances to the room wing were unlocked and propped open with pieces of cement in them. The hallways were extremely dirty leading in and out of these entrances.
