Good stop on long drivePosted Sep 1, 2014
Location: Wish we had time to hike in the Water Gap.
This clean, comfortable small motel was a great place to stop over on a long drive. Added benefit is the 50's style diner next door serving tasty comfort food.

Clean comfortable friendlyPosted Aug 10, 2014
We stayed overnight in this hotel in the middle of a long drive. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. Our gps had difficulty locating the hotel, so we called for directions, and the gentleman was extremely nice and helpful. No luxury hotel amenities, but perfect for what we needed, and a great value for the price.

Fresh Air RoomsPosted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: I loved having the room in such a fresh condition.
Cons: I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the towels. They were a bit on the thin side, they were adequate and clean.
Location: I was pleased that there was a diner within walking distance, I had a very delicious evening meal at the diner.
I was pleased to arrive at my room and have the windows open with a beautiful breeze blowing through. The staff of the hotel was helpful and I enjoyed my stay.

Overrated motelPosted Jul 20, 2014
Very nice and efficient staff. Very clean room... circa 1958. They had just replaced the carpeting (read off-gassing). Everything else appeared to be original condition. Mint green walls. Almond (a euphemistic color name) plastic bathroom. But clean.

Cons: Means to enter, exit site
Location: Next to the river in the beautiful Poconos
Wonderful staff, really clean room added to an excellent stay. We will be back sooner rather than later.

Thinnest blanket I've ever seen. 50 yards from Interstate traffic. Way overpriced.

Not bad for short stayPosted Dec 15, 2013
Pros: Very clean with comfortable bed.
Cons: Cleaning supplies or air freshener were very scented which may not be a problem for most people but were for me.
Location: Didn't play the tourist but the old fashioned diner next door has good food and is an interesting spot.
Lady that checked us in was very pleasant and helpful.

Very comfortable!Posted Nov 22, 2013
We have not stayed in a real motel for a long time. The Scottish Inn in Milford was very comfortable. The bed was fine. We should have turned the heat down a little more than we did. There was a microwave and fridge. The staff were very helpful. It is convenient to the interstate. We will probably stay here again.

Very basic, but can't beat the pricePosted Nov 21, 2013
The room was just that, a room, it was cold and drafty, but when I cranked the heat and came back from dinner I was fine. Tube televisions are outdated, but whatever, I was there for a grand total of 12 hours, who needs a 50" led?? For 60 bucks a night I would definitely stay here again and recommend to a friend. Also, wifi is available even though the website doesn't mention it. Just ask at the desk.
