"Amazing honeymoon"
Four Seasons offered impeccable service. We were impressed and felt really special throughout our honeymoon. I don't even have to mention how beautiful Bora Bora is, and the hotel was built strategically to accentuate this beauty.

"Best Honeymoon Resort Ever!"
We would have rated this resort 5/5 if it wasn't for the pizza oven and bobcat boat being out of order. Food was delicious, but crazy expensive. We suggest going to town in the evening to get the huge portion sized dishes of local food at the food trucks. Tons of fun activities right at the resort. Lagoonarium and scootering are an absolute must! Bloody Mary's at lunch was disappointing. Don't forget to share some food with the local dogs ;)

"Treat Yourself to Luxury"
Comfort, service, restaurants and amenities are exactly what you would expect of a St. Regis resort. The rooms are gorgeous with luscious beds and walk-in shower. The staff is outstanding, they deliver customer service at the highest level. Specific thank you to Ako! Both the Sushi and Jean George restaurants were expensive, but worth it. Best of all, this property makes my favorite drink (lychee martini) and my husband's (Hendrick's tonic with cucumber). We loved it!

"Luxury Stay in Paradise"
Le Meridien has to be one of the most beautiful and luxurious hotels I've ever stayed in. You arrive at the hotel via boat and they immediately greet you with music and a guide. There they show you around and really make it seem like you are a special guest at their hotel. We booked an overwater bungalow and it was beautiful with the huge glass bottom floor and a sweeping view of the lagoon. Our bungalow was near the end of the row of bungalows so we had a nice view of Mount Otemanu. The views at the hotel are amazing. Every direction you are, you see crystal blue waters and a view of the main island. Staff is attentive and always greets you as you walk by. There is a certain secluded feeling to staying here as well. There are not a ton of guests just by the fact that most people who come are couples and there are a limited number of bungalows, so the beaches are never packed with people. We came to Bora Bora on our honeymoon and you really do feel like you are the only two people in the world sometimes. The only downside is the cost of everything. The food and drinks at the hotel are expensive. We spent around $200 on food almost every night. If you want to stay here but try to save money, be sure to visit a convenience store on the main island and stock up on food. Otherwise you are stuck eating at the restaurants at your hotel. Otherwise, we have no regrets and had a magical stay. You really do feel like you are staying in the middle of a tropical paradise.

"Truly amazing resort - on par with Bora Bora"
We stayed for 11 days and truly enjoyed the entire experience. The staff were amazing, friendly, knew our names and our favorite drinks every time we walked to the bars/restaurants. Check-in was easy and friendly. We were in Bungalow 9 which was amazing - we couldn't see any other huts from our bungalow or our deck. Sunrise huts are great because they get full sun on the deck from sunrise until about 4:30pm which is awesome! Some of the other units didn't have full sun all day. We have been to Bora Bora, which we loved, and this resort was just as good for much less $$. The restaurants were fantastic and the food excellent, and considering it is located on a very small island, the pricing was quite reasonable ($5 for beer, $11 for glass of wine, $15 for fruity drinks, most entrees are $30-$40. The gourmet restaurant is amazing (pricy, but great food inside with air conditioning). The Polynesian night dinner was amazing (we were lucky to be there for 2 of them). They offer a buffet of 40+ local dishes which were all amazing. This resort is great for couples. There were families there as well, but beyond kayaks, snorkeling and the pool there isn't much else for kids. I would recommend this resort for couples looking to unwind and relax. Plenty of great excursions though. The rooms were amazing, and much bigger than in the pictures. The decks are huge, again much bigger in person. We saw sting rays, lemon sharks, small octopus, and tons of fish.

"Fabulous location, very relaxing"
When we booked our stay on Bora Bora we looked for a place with snorkelling right there. We also wanted someplace that we could relax in our last few days in French Polynesia. That's exactly what we got. Blue Heaven Island is a small pension with only 5 rooms, or rather huts. The huts are not luxurious, are not air conditioned, but are adequately comfortable. There is no restaurant with choices; the host serves very good food, and does consult about the main dish, but serves the same meal to everyone. Once we got used to this (very different from North American hotels), we thoroughly enjoyed it. The host is a very interesting and well-travelled Frenchman with stimulating conversation. For three of our four nights we were the only guests, so it was like having our own private beach! The snorkelling was great, one or more other boat came into the area for snorkelling every day. We did a lot of reading and relaxing on the beach, and under the sun shelter on the jetty over the water.
