Reasonable Choice in a Pinch

Pros: Price
Cons: rooms are old and need to be updated
Location: Seaside beach is close, say no more
The rooms are older and need an update they were clean and the new lobby area is well set up Gentleman that checked me in on Friday 6-19-15 was warm and welcoming.

Great Place

We booked last night because we had an unexpected visit to Seaside Heights. There were no availability in any other hotel so we were quite nervous as to what we walking into. To our surprise we found the establishment to be clean, profession and friendly staff and we felt as easy checking in. We would definitely stay there again this summer.

It is in a convenient location, close to Seaside Heights. It has nice clean rooms but a very small breakfast room.

Didn't have what was promised

We booked a double room and paid an extra fee for sleeping 2 more. The room was supposed to accommodate 6 adults. I called the hotel early in the day before arrival to verify that we would need roll away beds to sleep 2 extra adults. They apparently "didn't receive" that information from Expedia, but assured me they would take care of it. Once we got there, they again were surprised when I asked about sleeping the extra adults. Long story short, they only had one roll away bed left and only said "sorry, we're busy." I explained that we had reserved this in advance and even called ahead, and they were simply not delivering on what they had promised. I was told that they would "see what they could do," which ended up being two blankets and two pillows. One of us spent a very uncomfortable night on the floor (the double beds had couples in them, so they would have had an awkward third wheel experience). I asked if they could at least waive the fee that we paid for the extra people, but nothing came of that. The most upsetting thing was that they didn't seem to care that they had made a mistake, and I had to ask them for them to do absolutely anything. Horrible customer service, in my profession we would have bent over backwards to waive ALL of the fees and provided a giant pile of blankets, or upgraded the room, or at least TRIED to do something. They simply did not care that they had made a mistake, and I felt very undervalued as a customer. I will never stay there again.

good location with indoor pool

Pros: The free breakfast, WiFi, and the rooms were clean, the beds comfortable.
Location: There are very nice restaurants around the area and so with the beach and boardwalk.
We had a wonderful experience. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool very much since they couldn't swim on the beach because of the cold and windy weather. The location is excellent because it is a few minutes drive to the boardwalk. The free breakfast was good.

Adequate at best.

Rooms are tiny and dated. Tall narrow steel doors have that"welcome to prison" look. Staff was nice. Overpriced for a well worn hotel.
