Stayed 2 nights with my 3 small children and myself…Friday to Sunday. We reserved an apartment type room with 2 double beds in bedroom (no tv) and sofa/bed in the living area..along with a small stove/sink and small refrigerator. A small table and 2 chairs as well. The first room that was given to us had a door that looked like it was kicked in. And was filthy, looked like the previous people made the beds themselves. The odor of the room was so over powering. Smelled like mildew and mold. I requested a new room since the door didnt seem safe and secure. They then moved us to the next room. Smelled horrible as well, I felt like No matter where we went it will stink. This time there was burn marks on the wall from the stove, the front 2 burners didn’t work, the tv didn’t work and had to wait an hr for someone to come in and “fix it” the WiFi didn’t work unless you was outside. Luckily I took cleaning supplies with me because the smell was beyond horrible. The shower was gross and I wouldn’t allow my kids to walk in the room without sandals on. The refrigerator had a spill in there that no one cleaned up. The air conditioner didn’t look it’s been clean since last year. The filter was covered completely. The pool was also dirty. Had so much debris in it and looked like no one has cleaned it all summer. It wasn’t even unlocked when we got there at 3:00. Was told it was locked because no one was using it. Over all this place was a sh*thole and don’t suggest anyone staying.

Good stay for the price after summer.
I thought according to the pics that the motel was right on the beach. It was across the street so be careful with kids. Could use a coat of paint in places. Nothing to rave about but it was just a place to hang your hat if you know what I mean.

Refuse to go anywhere else in Seaside! Love where it is and how close to the boardwalk. It is outdated but always clean! We have never had a issue with anything not working or dirty. Staff is amazing and friendly! Parking is so easy! Definitely would say it us the best motel in Seaside! Cant wait to go back next year!

Don't book Surfside
The hotel is poorly maintained. The lock on the door to the room hardly works. Deadbolt is dead. A rat sized opening is under the door. Room smells of mildew. One bed sinks on the side you sit on several feet. TV has only one channel. Sink is very lose. Shower is hard to adjust due to rust.

Seaside not sure what I expected
The bathroom had a giant mold thing growing which made the entire room have an unbearable smell. They did allow me to changes dates. It was very clean but the sheets were ripped and the bends were very old with very small pillow and no blanket.

Skip it and pay the extra $$ Pool isn’t worth it…
Location is the only highlight of this motel. I picked it for the pool/location and ratings which were not accurate. The pool is filthy. The beds have got to be 40 yrs old and stained and springy. The bathroom is meh- had to request a replacement toilet seat because the one we had was torn and made of fabric, gross. They replaced it promptly. The whole “apt” smelled like mildew- all of us had problems with it. The kitchenette is literally that. Bare bones. No housekeeping is done while there. You have to take out your trash and request sheets, towels etc. the fridge was on par. Sirens and yelling go on throughout the night. We got zero sleep the first night because of the amount of noise. Everywhere I went I smelled pot. The balcony, the pool area, my car. It became a great joke. If none of that bothers you, have it. I am currently hoping we don’t get bedbugs from this place. We were parked in the whole 3 days we were there. I didn’t want to risk squeezing my new car in back lot with is meant for compact vehicles. Staff was great, very cordial and attentive. Will never be returning.

The location is great. The rooms are quite run down, but are kept clean. The most updated rooms are on the 3rd floor and have 2 beds. The staff was very friendly.

Dump close to the beach with a decent pool
I wasn’t expecting anything fancy but wow lol first off the room was filled with flies, it smelled like a sewer inside, it was not clean, it was like they just made the beds and have it a quick vacuum and wipe down and called it a day. The living area with the pull out bed was ok but the pull out bed came with no pillows, sheets or blankets, the tv was brand new which was good but was not even set up lol the cabinet under the sink was absolutely disgusting and I was scared to look to see what exactly it was but I’d guess bug or mice feces. The front door barely shut, it would opened half way with it being locked . The ac worked good but was filthy with either mold or dirt on the vents. The bedroom was ok but the pillows were like a towel folded in half, they were the cheapest pillows I’ve ever seen in my life. Worst of all was the bathroom lol the shower was ok but the toilet kept clogging and had no plunger so I had to go ask for one, when they gave it to me it was all wet like it was just used lmao.. the sink was in front of the toilet so when you sat on the toilet you would have to sit sideways lmao but I used the sink to rest my head while taking a dump, behind the toilet was gross.They left a roll of toilet paper and a few towels and had no housekeeping so if you needed something you would have to go wait and ask but that’s if somebody was there bc anger 9 they are gone, the pool was nice tho. Overall I wouldn’t stay there again, for the price thers places 2x as nice

This place was absolutely DISGUSTING! When we got there we left our bags in the room and wanted to race to the beach because the kids were super excited but couldn’t because when we went to lock the door to our room from the outside my husband checked to see if it closed properly and it didn’t even close let alone lock! The room was gross but we said we would check it better later. BIG MISTAKE! The room smelled like mold, the shower curtain HAD MOLD the sheets were dirty, there was rust EVERYWHERE! I mean the shower curtain rings the ceiling! The walls were falling apart. I cannot say enough that even if this room was FREE ITS NOT WIRTH IT! We decided to leave and went to talk to the front desk nicely and request we get a refund since we did t even stay the night! The lady started off patient but then ended up ripping the keys out of my hand and saying I won’t give you a refund leave! And took our keys and made us leave!

Everything except the tv is outdated and old. The room was clean, but because it’s old and worn and doesn’t give the appearance of cleanliness but is. If they gave a paint job and did a little refurbishing it would look light years better.

Love the convenience being 1 block from board walk and beach. Pool was clean and nice . Great breakfast place right next store to motel with great food with eat in or take out. Motel could use a remodeling but would stay here again because of the convenience.

The bath room sink at room 106 is in the middle can’t avoid to hit it! Plus a lot fruit flies flying! Their annoying! The staff are friendly! We love the location ! My kids wanna go back at seaside heights! But not on that room.. hopefully we can get another room! If we go back on that hotel again..

Don’t Do It
The hotel was in terrible condition, I honestly couldn’t believe how many times I had to call because the toilet was clogged. On Saturday night, we had a homeless man sleep outside of our first floor room the entire night between two of our chairs that were outdoors. We had no Wi-Fi the entire time. The staff said “ I don’t know what to tell you.” All of the furniture was old and ratty. We ended up leaving early because I felt like we were getting bit by bedbugs. It was honestly awful. Never again.

we booked a room for two nights and left after the first night. worst place we ever stayed. -1- the toilet did not flush -2- the refrigerator leaked water on the flor and on our luggage. -3- The safety lock on the inside door was broken -4- The heat was on in the bathroom -5- a sea shell was found between the mattress and the sheet. That tells me that the same sheets were used by someone else. the owner and Expedia would not refund our money

While the office staff were friendly there really wasn't any "service" We had to ask for towels and toilet paper. The room was so tiny. There wasn't even a hook for a towel. We had to slam the bathroom door to get it to shut. The bathroom had old broken tiles.There were 3 of us and only 1 chair. This motel needs to be upgraded. It was not worthy of the price we paid.
