Pros: Old world charm yet modern...nice staff!
Cons: Nothing!
Location: BEACH, WHISPERS RESTAURANT...TOO MANY TO MENTION.
Love this Hotel!!!! So happy we found it! Staff, the upgraded suite, beautiful view, etc...

Pros: The pool area was nice
Location: Walking distance to the beach and a nearby beautiful lake
We only stayed one night, and it was fine for that. Clean, but definitely catering for more mature holiday makers, with very dated decor and furnishings.

conveniently located within walking distance of beach town etc. great staff bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable excellent restaurant although somewhat pricey make sure you order the shrimp appetizer upgraded to suite without even asking large comfortable rooms a very enjoyable experience

Pros: The decor & surrounding area.
Location: The location was exceptional.
It was a very nice hotel & we enjoyed our stay The rooms were beautiful & the view was amazing. The only thing that needed improvement was the water pressure in the shower; or lack thereof.

Pros: Beautiful surroundings. By lake and near ocean
Cons: Toilet was broken when I checked in late and waited til morning to fix. They had emergency number but didn't want to bother them.

The hotel is lovely with caring people. The bed was most comfortable. The ocean is just a block away, so it was very convenient to go running. I visited during the off season, and pretty much had the hotel to myself. It is much more like a B&B than a hotel.

In a beautiful old beach community. Room nice and very comfortable. Kind of surprised when we arrived at 4pm(check in time) and no one was there to greet us, only a note with a contact number. It was Thanksgiving but still a little bit of a shock. Biggest problem was 2 flights of winding stairs and no elavator. 2 big bags meant at least 2 trips. Would not recommend for older travelers unless you can ensure a first floor room.
